Skinny scarf trend alert. If you float around knitstagram at all you have certainly seen these. They sort of fall into the "bow" category in my opinion. Not going to lie though, I am just as obsessed as everyone else :)
Pattern is improvised. There are changes I would love to make. I just used scrap yarn though, so not going to attempt a remake any time soon.
Currently practiced lots of knitting! Made 2 small scarves for my plushies as practice and now I am making my first big scarf for myself in a lovely pastell orange!
Small scarfs were made using acryl yarn. I think it had some other stuff as well, but certainly acryl. Not the nicest/softest stuff, but good for practice.
I'm using a cotton yarn with recommended needle size 3-4mm, I am using 3mm Needles and my time lol. Using 30 uhh rows? well the loops(anyone know what they are called?)(Edit: Haha it was Stichtes, thank you lovely folk!) But should have probably gone with 25 instead, but eh at least I didn't go too big.
I'll be making my scarf only using garter stitch/basic knit stitch, but for my next scarf I'll use a different Stitch!
I went from: "I hate knitting, I prefer crochet" to "I love knitting, leave me to knit" lol.
Been putting off some crochet practice in favour of knitting.
Knitting is awesome, you don't even have to think lol. At least not as long you are only using the most basic stitch haha.
I do intend to make myself a scarf with pastell yellow cotton yarn that I only do single crochet with, for practice. But I'll finish my scarf first.
I love my progress, last month I just started learning it, frustrated not managing a single stitch, to starting my first scarves! Ah I wonder when I'll make my first sweaters? Mhm well, first knit some scarves with color variations later haha.

How to pick a good ruffle sweater? think about: 1) the color and your skin tone. 2) the location of ruffles and how it affects your body shape. 3) interesting accessories for a consistent, elegant look.
In this look, the ruffles are on the shoulder. This location of ruffles makes my shoulder looks wider and attracts attention to neck and collar bone -- exactly where I added a pretty florals scarf. A black pleated skirt goes well with the curvey and folded shape of ruffles. Because there are already too many shapes, textures and details (’ruffles’ on shoulder, wraists, knees), I keep the color simple -- black.
whole look without jewel < $150.

Made another one, this time Piccolo got a purple scarf with silver streacks. It's the same yarn as the one Freeza got just a bit longer.
