It’s all but one of the Mini-team: The red is Liza, the black is Jase, the girl is Rebecca, the green is Trapper, and the yellow is Brandon (the one missing is the blue, Trist). I’ve mentioned them before but certain aspects have been changed since I last did so. Personality wise: Liza is cocky and headstrong but with some major abandonment issues that she tries really hard to overcompensate for. Jase is very youthful and optimistic, but not at all naive; he actually has a strange sort of world wisdom that seems strange on one who is most definitely the youngest of the lot (unlike the original monkey team, the clones weren’t all made at the same time). Rebecca is a sweet and friendly girl, but she’s rather cautious about things and struggles with hesitating in her choices and actions, but despite that she’s an encouraging force for the rest of her team and she’s trying her best. Trapper is a big time grump who seems to get annoyed with people really easily, being known to yell and shout at the drop of a hat, but he’s also extremely loyal and protective of the people he cares about, even if they (Liza) drive him up the wall. Brendan is extremely shy, timid, and insecure, always seeming startled or unsure, but she’s incredibly sweet and is often underestimated because of her personality, meaning she catches enemies off guard with her amazing combat abilities.
All of the monkeys are genetic clones of the original monkey team, kind of planned and created as a sort of back-up plan, in case something went wrong with the original team. About ten years after the show, still in the midst of a great war with Skeleton King and the dark ones, they find out about these clones and go out to look for them. Unbeknownst to them, not only are they not perfect clones (there was some gene splicing done), but because they spent most of the time between their creation and being found asleep, they are basically children in both understanding of the world and mentality. So while the hyper force had gone in search of them in hopes of finding more allies for the war, they find this young team more in need of training, and so each monkey takes on their clone as an apprentice.
Rebecca is a young girl who was taken in by the hyper force when her world was destroyed by Skeleton King. They discovered very quickly that she has a connection with the power primate and can harness the powers, and so she’s been taken on as a new little leader-in-training. She was actually taken in a couple of years before they found out about the clones, and in that time that she’s been with the hyper force she’s become something a little sister figure for Chiro. The two of them have become extremely close and they both appreciate having each other around.
