I woke up...
...one monday evening from an unplanned nap to a world of grey overtones. Neither black, nor white, for the concept of 'yes' or 'no', 'do' or 'don't do' didn't seem to apply to the rules of the world anymore. But it was alright. Because somehow, in my mind, I had figured out some truth to the world's true identity...
Sitting at the edge of my bed in a room clothed in the absence of light, my mind diverts its thoughts away from the world's insecurities, focusing closely on the things at hand. Shamefully admitting it had returned to the simple wants of the heart; Tea, Food & a medium to write. Two of which would require I leave the haven of said dark room, navigating to the sole light illuminating the house from below.
I remained seated, however, for some reason I wasn't sure about. I could put it down to the relaxing drone of the sound system, monotonously reminding me that it was ever ready to sing some music to me, should I be willing to plug it into my phone, tablet or laptop. I appreciated the gesture but the droning sound seemed to be a better choice. I would rather think I was in a mindset that couldn't tolerate the presence of voices, even if it was going to be one of musical brilliance.
I jinxed it.
My mum's voice echoes from downstairs, even as she responds to something, I'd like to assume my dad said. Mind diverts. I'm wondering if its time to go down to say hi... Weighing that alongside if I was ready to inevitable dilemma she had presented to me. Speaking of which, I was suddenly concerned to my sister's whereabouts.
I get up. Muscles stretching as the body's limbs get put to work. Hands in the pocket, face towards the door, my mind revisits the grey overtones as I spend the last few minutes in this dark room... I did say I had figured out the truth of the world's identity. I believe that I do know.
The world's dying. Decaying as the days pass on from the activities of its handlers. The world's dying and we (humans) can't save it.
So like every true shakespeare romanticism trait...
We opt to kill it ourselves.
{Finally changing things back to my normal theme and URL and stuff. }
I am really torn over whether or not to keep watching NO.6.
On the one hand, I'm three episodes from the end and stopping the anime is synonymous with dropping out of fandom.
On the other hand, the anime lately just makes me feel like I'm being spoiled for all the major plot points without actually getting any of the story, and that's pretty frustrating too. Ugh why couldn't they have just made the anime better?!
Aughhh I don't know what to do.
