Today there was a girl at my barn who's interested in boarding there. I know her from this barn I used to ride at years ago, we we're talking about our horses and I told her I also own a Mini now. Her reaction? 'What do you want with a Mini?' Aaah! I hate it! I've had so many horse and non-horse people ask me that question. Um, just because you can't ride them doesn't mean you can't work them and have fun with them. It's actually fucking hard to train a pony from scratch without being able to ride them. You can't use your legs, your weight, your seat. And no! It is not cute or funny when my pony rears or kicks or bites or is being pushy. Just because he's only 8hh he's still a horse and needs proper manners! Also, good luck finding qualitiy tack that actually fits ;)
