University was going to be stressful, of course you knew that, you just wished someone had told you that at some point you would find yourself sat at your laptop for almost 19 hours straight writing an essay you had no clue about.
You had written 1000 out of 3000 words, your eyes were burning from staring at your screen for so long, desperately searching for any information on the topic your essay was on.
“(Y/N)?” The sound of your boyfriends croaky morning voice caused you to jump, not expecting him to wake up anytime soon. “Have you still not been asleep?"
Without turning around you replied, "of course not. I’m nowhere near finished."
"It’s 7am, you haven’t moved away from that computer screen for nearly a full day!” Simon exclaimed in disbelief, “come to bed, you can finish it later."
"No, I can’t,” you muttered. “Go back to sleep.” The silence that followed your words made you assume that Simon had given up, but you should’ve known better than that.
You felt him wrap his arms around you as he rested his head on top of yours. “Come to bed, (Y/N), I know you want to.”
Completely ignoring Simon, you let out a quiet squeal of excitement as you found the website that yahoo answers suggested to use for your essay. “Yes! This website is pure gold, it has everything I need on it. Yahoo Answers is yet to fail me."
”(Y/N),“ Simon dragged out your name as he attempted to pull your hands away from the keyboard. Big mistake.
"Stop it!” You snapped, slapping his prying fingers away lightly but he stubbornly continued to keep you away from the keyboard.
“You need sleep, babe,” he sighed. “This isn’t healthy."
”Quit it or I’ll bite.“
The threat that slipped for your lips seemed to work as Simon instantly removed his hands and you smirked into triumph.
"Is that how it is?” He asked in a teasing manner and you nodded, your eyes still trained on the screen in front of you. “Well, if you don’t come to bed right now, I will pick you up and throw you on it."
You rolled your eyes, "you wouldn’t."
Before you could type another word, your felt arms wrap around your waist and within seconds your back was hitting your mattress.
"Of course, I would.” Simon grinned from above you and you jokingly shoved him off of you.
With the comfortable feeling of your bed beneath you, your eyes struggled to stay open. “‘Maybe I’ll just have a quick power nap. Wake me up in 20 minutes."
"I will,” Simon yawned, crawling into the spot next to you and pulling you into his side. “Don’t worry.”
