lots of fun painting this grim procession up. probably the most warhammer models of them all?
The new SoS stuff looks pretty good, though I’m not 100% sure why the Repentia models have sockets sculpted on them.
Lore-wise, at least to my understanding, the sockets that Marines have are used to connect the power armour to the black carapace - which SoS do not have.
I’m 99% sure that SoB aren’t “supposed” to have the sockets - I have a set of older, metal Repentias and they don’t have any sockets for their armour that I can find.
In other news, I’ll be getting rid of the sockets if I get the new models.
Owlcat Games introduced a new companion in Warhammer 40K: Dark Heresy, sanctioned psyker Saro 🔥 He dreamed of serving the Emperor in the Adeptus Ministorum, but his innate powers got him the Inquisition's wrath and painful sanctioning. Now he's a capable pyromancer who kept his faith. The party RPG is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, still no release date. Closed beta is live for those who pre-order the Digital Developer Pack ($79) or the Collector's Edition ($289).
