A little while ago @monsieurpaprika opened up emergency commissions, and I took the opportunity to finally see my pairings in their fantastic style! I reasoned that I could only really afford coloured sketches if I wanted both MiNoi and MizuKuri, and Sam really delivered!l Posted with permission. OMFG, that gif! I'm not gonna lie, at first, I didn't like mink. But then I saw him in another light in Recode and started to care. Now all this is getting to me. Like, I know it's not gushy love and I'm okay with that. I really think it'll work.

One of these days, I will animate them to that gif, it's so cute. Just like, Mink reading and Noiz tooling around the net, doing their own thing together, and Noiz decides to "get comfortable" in one of his patented exceedingly uncomfortable positions. He flips right upside down, legs dangling over the top of the couch, back pressed up against Mink's legs. P-chan adjusts the projection accordingly. Mink doesn't even blink, just pulls his arm out from under Noiz's knees and lays it back on top of them.

Yeah, I didn't exactly hate Mink, I just didn't really think much about him. Intellectually, I understood the ways he had treated Aoba in dmmd. I sympathized a bit with the way he intentionally cut himself off from others, even if I wasn't exactly happy with how he chose to do that. Because of the genre, I had actually expected worse.  Then I read the stuff that happened in ReConnect (I haven't gotten to play yet) and fandom and time made me think on him a bit and I grew to like him. Now of course there's the drama cd and all of my feels.

I actually disliked Noiz for a long while though. Before I played I thought I'd like him, just from his design (I've had a couple people ask me pricing on making stuff for cosplays of him, so his was a design I'd studied a lot beforehand), but until about the closet scene in Oval Tower I just wanted to strangle him. I'm also not really...sure about his good ending with Aoba. To the point where I've kind of avoided reading exactly translations of them in ReConnect. (At least I'll have some surprises, right?) Again, he's grown on me with time though. ("Like a fungus," my inner Koujaku seethes, while absentmindedly petting the four trillion plot/art bunnies that are distracting me from KouAo stuff.)

A lot of how I think about MiNoi is just plain sexual, with a lot of sensory exploration and masochism and modes of control... But hey, it's a goddamn porn game, it doesn't have to be all deep all the time. If I stopped to think about them a bit more, I can see a lot of places where the emotional depth and possible conflict comes in. But honestly I just don't have the extra brain capacity to focus on that right now. Maybe after the holidays when work slows down.

Imagine Noiz and Mink kissing long and sloppy. Mink is just so intense and Noiz gets lost in it because he feels the most sensation in his tongue. They get so into it they barely think to do anything else - but Mink manages to haul Noiz into his lap, kneading his bony little ass to guide him into rhythm.
