i need to be shot RIGHT NOW . i can't stop thinking about dove and mint again . tiny baby and a woman who was sooo unprepared for him in every way.

have I publicly talked about Mint Faragher and the piece "my son's drawing of safe" yet . have we considered mint, maybe four months in with Dove and not sure how long he'll be there for and wanting comfort and kinda just waiting for his mom to come back, taking solace from the one she left him with . adding her to his family portraits ... thinking about her looking at his art and asking, "what are you drawing?" and he asks, "can't you tell?" and maybe she laughs awkwardly or maybe she guesses or maybe she replies with, "I don't know, I've never seen your art before, tell me about it?"

And he does. And it's him, with his two moms, safe.
