A Dip In The Lake || Minzel

Summer was almost coming to a close, Fall looming in right around the corner for Swynlake. What better way to bring in the beginning of Fall than to go for a swim?

Minnie couldn’t remember the last time she had done this, take a dip in the lake, but she was going to now. She hoped that the water wouldn’t be too cold. It was very nice outside, warm even with the sun peaking through, which isn’t a normal day to day thing in Swynlake, so today was a perfect day. 

The light reflecting off of Atlantis’s waters was beautiful and the fact that there wasn’t many people around right now made the lake look even more serene. 

Minnie could stay lost just staring at it all.

“We chose a perfect day.”

 The brunette smiled turning to look at Marzel. Of course she didn’t come alone. She hadn’t swam in a while, she definitely wasn’t about to swim now without someone with her.

“Hopefully, the water feels as warm as it feels outside now.”

Finished the second goblin discord Winter Veil party! It took me far too long to finish this one! >.>  Anyhoo... It was fun all the same! The DK Crysanthemum is mine, all the others belong to various gobbos in our discord. Enjoy!

Baking For Two || Minzel

There were way too many things on top of Minnie’s kitchen counters. There were a plethora of ingredients and utensils, an electrical mixer and so forth. However, none of it felt far too excessive for the brunette, she was about to bake for a whole Kindergarten class so this felt appropriate. 

On top of everything else, was a recipe book. 

The recipe book took a bit for Minnie to find, but when she did it brought back a lot of memories of her mother. It was her recipe book after all, one that was passed down the line of her family. This was the first time Minnie will be opening it in years.

The book was also in Spanish. It was a good thing she was fluent in the language and so was Marzel. 

Speaking of the bell rang just in the knick of time as the brunette walked over and opened the door. There stood Marzel as Minnie smiled bright and allowed him to step in, leading him to the kitchen.

“This isn’t too much, right?” She asked biting at the inside of her cheek. “I figured since it’s for a whole class I had to at least double up on everything. Ever had some Huesos de Santos?”

Trampled by Students || Minzel

Minnie was just finishing off her shift for the day at Swynlake Primary. She has already had a couple of weeks in her new job and so far the brunette was loving the decision she had made. 

All the kids were absolutely wonderful! She had so much fun with them whenever they had to come by to her office. Naturally, it was never for the best of reasons: tummy aches, scrapes, sore throats, and medicine handling, but she always made sure that the kids had a good visit when they had to come by. 

Her experience made her understand why her mother loved her job as a Primary school teacher here in the same school. It was another benefit she loved about her decision, she felt more connected to her mother. 

The brunette had packed up what she needed, locked her office door and was heading out at just the same time the students were being led to the exit. It was on the way out when she suddenly felt a pair of small arms wrapping themselves around her bottom waist. It was one of Marzel’s students and soon enough, there was Marzel tailing shortly behind. 

“Miss Minnie! Are you going home now too?!”

A Tea For Your Thoughts || Minzel

Minnie was at Mad Hatter’s Tea Shoppe. It was honestly one of her absolute favorite spots in Swynlake, aside from the hospital, and one she frequented often. She has been making far more steps in her healing mental wise regarding the attack and has been able to go places without the need of any company.

The night not so much, but small steps were better than no steps. 

Anyways, she had a nice iced-coffee in hand sitting on one of the tables as she saw Marzel walk in. She had invited him over, not so much for a needed company to be escorted back home because there were some errands she had to do afterward but to tell her about the news she has received and worked out. He took a seat as the brunette smiled over at him. 

“Would you like anything? I was thinking of grabbing you something ahead of time but wasn’t too sure as to what you would like, so I didn’t jump the gun. The line isn’t too horribly long though if you would. My treat.”

Minnie took a sip of her coffee before continuing on. “But, thanks for coming. I wanted to tell you something.”
