The feline didn’t seem to be so happy about all the ruckus surrounding them. The pair of them were accustom to being alone in a big old house but now, they were surrounded by peculiar halflings and their teachers. Mio wasn’t complaining of course, however she did notice how unsettled Ryo was and attempted to cheer up her little pet. “Don’t be such a sour puss.” She muttered, slinging Ryo over her shoulder like a rag-doll— which was actually a common practice between the two; sometimes Ryo looked more like an accessory than a furry friend.
A perfectly polished fingernail was suddenly pointed before her very eyes and Mio blinked, tilting her head to the side in order to see who was waving their index at her. Oh my, this girl is adorable! "Of course!" The Ker immediately exclaimed, grasping the pointed finger and shaking it like a hand whilst Ryo clung for dear life to the girl’s shoulder.
"Masui Mio at your service!"
The little lady was a bit surprised at the gravity of the other's handshake, but a lady of the Kingsleigh bloodline was not one to be fazed by any sort of surprising hyperness. To keep the other in check, she placed a hand over the other's own, finishing their giddy shake with one gentle tug as she let her hand drift back unto her side. "Mio." She repeated the name, her voice lilting as she was unsure of how to pronounce the foreign sounding moniker. Hopefully it sounded just right.
Hands firm upon her sunny yellow skirts, the girl gave the other a shallow curtsy, grinning as she straightened herself up once more. "Charlize Kingsleigh at your acquaintance. You have every right to call me Lizzy." The cat on the other's shoulder did not go unnoticed, of course, and the girl cocked her head to the side to check if the poor feline was still alright. "Are you sure the kitty is going to be okay?"
