Seeing through the mirage mirror...

People: You need two people for a duet

(Aka: MIRAGE MIRROR IS SO GOOOOOOD)
What would be Ikki, Vice, Sakura, Lovecove, and Hiromi's reactions to Mirage Mirror and it's lyrics?
I already did Hiromi here, but suffice to say it was super sappy and Kagerou nearly retched with how disgustingly cute they were being.
Ikki and Sakura are just extremely proud of their Dai-chan and Kage-chan. Daiji, of course, is appropriately embarrassed, but pleased with himself. And Kagerou is being tsuntsun about it but he's also happy to be praised.
Vice is now yelling that he and Ikki need to do another duet to top them (they already have one, Volcano) and Lovekov nearly topples Daiji/Kagerou over in an affectionate hug XD
[I've been listening to Mirage Mirror a lot recently, it's on my KR playlist now. It goes Riot in Bloom (Hana) -> Cherry-ish (Sakura + Lovekov) -> Mirage Mirror (Daiji + Kagerou) -> Without You (Hiromi) -> Bittersweet (Touma + Rintaro + Kento + Mei) lmao]
If I were to use Mirage Mirror to copy a Saga like The Antiquities War, how would that work? Would the copy get a lore counter on it immediately due to the wording on the Saga cards?
It depends on when you make Mirage Mirror into a copy of the Saga.
If you copy it in your main phase or later, then nothing much will happen and Mirage Mirror will just go back to normal when the turn ends.
If you copy the Saga before your first main phase, then it will get a lore counter when your main phase begins and the appropriate chapter ability will trigger. If that happens to be the final chapter ability of the card it’s copying, then you’ll sacrifice it once that trigger resolves.
Topi’s Daily Card #1065: Mirage Mirror
I’ve always wanted a sort of upgrade to Mizzium Transreliquat, and Mirage Mirror is just that. While it’s not able to copy things and gain this ability again, it can become almost whatever you want for two mana, and that flexibility is what gives it the edge over the Transreliquat in most situations. Whether you want to boost your mana with someone’s Gaea’s Cradle, shore up your defenses with a second or even third Ghostly Prison effect, or even just copy someone’s best creature to attack, the Mirror is best at doing whatever is the best of the field. You can do some interesting things with stacking the triggers if you briefly want a static ability to be in effect or to use something in a flash, such as copying someone’s Elesh Norn to give the rest of the board -4/-4, or even giving a tap effect only to have it copy something that’ll untap. The interactions that this card can do is pretty great, and it can go in any deck. If you need a clone in a pinch and you aren’t in blue, there’s a really neat temporary clone here, just for you.
I didn’t realize when i first saw it, but the minotaur in Mirage Mirror’s art is Neheb. Now that he’s got a before and after version it’s an especially powerful image! (The lazotep eternal pictured by the mirror is slightly different than his appearance in reality on the Eternal card; like the shoulder armor for instance, but that’s because the mirror is just showing a potential outcome. There are bound to be little nuanced differences.)
Pretty cool!
