Ideal Types: MHA pt 2

So, This was Super fun for me, and I decided maybe I'd write for a few more characters, Please let me know if there are any characters/other fandoms you'd like to see! (tho for MHA, I haven't quite watched Season 5, so a few might characters might have to wait!)

Shinso, Iida, Tamaki, Mirio

Fluff/HC/Drabble

Shinso

I think that Shinso would be a good match with someone unassuming, hear me out. He's worked his entire life hating his quirk, so someone who's not naturally talented I think would resonate with him and help him break out of his shell. Someone who has to work to make their quirk special, like Mirio. I also think that Shinso would be annoyed yet really need someone who was paid close attention to detail and organization. He's far from lazy, but tends to appear apathetic. I believe he'd need someone to snap him out of it and reveal his inner passion. I genuinely think he'd adore an animal lover. I do however think it doesn't matter to him if they were rough around the edges.

Iida

I think Iida would fall for someone who's open-minded. I know that seems broad, but I think it's the foundation for a good pairing. I headcanon that Iida would accidently fall for someone who gave him their attention. Having someone who takes his thoughts into consideration I think would really help him chill out a bit. Someone he knew would see his point and why he's such a stick in the mud and be able to calmly pull him out of his screaming fits. I also think as a 2nd or 3rd year it would be really important to have someone who Iida could learn to love himself and gain identity instead of idolizing his brother. In return I think he'd be magnificent as a security/stable person in his S/O's life.

Tamaki

For Tamaki, I think he'd easily fall for someone who's balanced. I realize that could sound bad, but Tamaki is constantly around people who're extroverted, and cheerful. Which is wonderful to balance him out, However I think someone who's balanced would have a larger sense of empathy for Tamaki, and he would feel he would be more understood when he shared his concern. Someone who has their own struggles but could assure tamaki that he's a lot stronger than he realizes. it might be controversial but I honestly headcanon they're quirkless/a civilian he saved and his heart went boom when they hugged him.

Mirio

I really think Mirio needs someone who's honest, probably to a fault. Someone who comes across as rude but could maybe call out Mirio on his constant smiling. That sounds harsh, but I think a harder approach would help Mirio stop repressing his feelings as much, especially if these words came from someone he respected and trusted. they wouldn't force him to change but encourage him to be honest with them when he isn't okay. As he works through the trauma of season 4, I think it's especially important he has a rock, a solid person who he can be real with. I think it wouldn't necessarily start as romantic love, but a firm trust that evolves into a deep connected love.

when he’s sleepy☁️

becomes touchier and quieter. if he’s sitting next to you, he’ll pull you onto his lap, wrap his arms around your waist, and rest his chin on your shoulder.

if you’re chatting with friends in the common room and clearly enjoying yourself, he won’t say anything about being tired (even if it’s pretty obvious). he also wouldn’t go back to his room because he doesn’t want to leave you.

he’d definitely fall asleep on your shoulder, but it takes him a really long time to do so because he tries to stay up. first it’ll start with him “resting” his eyes and only responding with a mumbled “yeah?” or “mhm” against your neck.

if he’s not sitting next to you, he’ll rest his chin in his hands to hold his head up, but his eyes are definitely closed.

he doesn’t mind sitting there half-asleep with you, but you can tell he’s getting a little impatient when he tries tickling your neck with his hair and squeezes you extra tight against his chest.

if you ask him if he’s tired, he’ll say “i’m okay” or “don’t rush” — he really doesn’t wanna ruin the moment for you.

please let this baby go to bed :(

when you’re ready to go, you have to shake him awake a little bit and hold his hand as you walk back to his or your dorm.

he literally will not let go of you so you have to spend the night together, sorry i don’t make the rules.

no matter how sleepy he is, he never fails to press a kiss to your temple and wish you a good night.

he always seems so full of energy, so it can be kind of hard to figure out when he’s sleepy!

the biggest tell is talking inconsistently, like he’ll be super chatty one moment then silent the next. at first you worry he might be mad at you or something, but then you realize he’s fighting to keep himself awake.

his head will literally start bobbing from the endless cycle of falling half-asleep then waking himself up. poor baby :(

he tries to keep himself awake by forcing himself to chat and tell stories, which works for a little bit, but as soon as the attention is off of him he’s back to nodding off.

i’m a firm believer that mirio talks stupid when he’s really sleepy, so sometimes he’ll just say whatever he’s thinking even if it doesn’t make sense. he’s one of those people that like to keep talking even when they’re talking stupid. he’s usually not aware he’s not making sense though.

sometimes he’ll try to keep himself up by teasing you a little more, making little stupid jokes so you playfully slap his shoulder and laugh — that’ll really keep him awake.

he’s another person who won’t explicitly tell you he’s tired, especially if he’s enjoying himself because he never wants the fun to end! if he wants to leave, his hand will move from around your shoulder to your knee, squeezing it gently.

if you ask him if he’s tired, he’ll say no, but you know better than to trust that and usually make an effort to leave pretty quickly because he is a heavy sleeper and you do not wanna get stuck trying to get him to bed.

as soon as you say it’s time to go, he gets a sudden burst of energy (or he just uses the very last of his energy) and picks you up and runs you off to yours or his room before you can even say your proper goodbyes.

he jumps in the bed first and holds his arms open for you, the biggest and cheesiest smile on his face. and when you lay down with him, he starts talking to you—asking you about your day and whatnot.

“mirio, i thought you were tired”

“i’m not anymore!”

when he realizes that you’ll leave a gathering when you think he’s tired, he starts pretending to be tired just so he can spend more alone time with you.

the issue is he always gets this burst of energy when you get to bed so you never actually know if he’s really tired or if he’s just pretending.

i believe in sleepy tenya supremacy actually

as we all know, tenya is normally super well put together and kinda definitely uptight, but when he’s sleepy? the uptightness and put-togetherness fade away a bit.

he’ll have this really relaxed smile on his face, laughing occasionally with the conversation. he doesn’t filter himself or his actions as much so he’s more affectionate and easy-going. sometimes he’ll even make his own sarcastic comments that are actually funny. little to no hand-chops here!

mirio talks stupid when he’s sleepy, but tenya talks smooth. i feel like deep down tenya is really charming, he just lets all these other things get in the way of that so his no-filter sleepy self is just so much more fun and easygoing.

if you didn’t know what tenya was usually like, you would think this is just how he always is—that’s how good he is at pretending he’s wide awake.

class a has made it known that they prefer sleepy tenya over everything else, but he’ll always brush it off and deny ever having done or said anything out of character while he was tired.

he likes to rest his hand on your thigh (which is a big deal for the both of you because he’s not too big on pda) and will have no reservations about it. he’ll unconsciously start to rub at your inner thigh and sometimes you hold his hand to stop him coz... people

aside from the exposed tee from his completely unbuttoned shirt, you’ll know he’s absolutely exhausted when he sets down his glasses and rubs his eyes with the heels of his palms.

he doesn’t want to leave you, but once the glasses come off, he’s staying for five more minutes tops. when he’s ready to go, he’ll kiss you on the forehead and offer to walk you back to your dorm (which you usually agree to because he’ll remind you how late it is).

he won’t automatically stay the night with you, but it’s pretty easy to get him to! all you have to do is ask for him to lay down with you “only for a few minutes until i go to sleep,” but he can never bring himself to leave once he’s cuddled up with you :)

It honestly depends on how you act, how Mirio will try to comfort you and help you out. He wants to make sure not to upset you further or make you uncomfortable. If you prefer to not talk about it and just sit in quiet, he'll hold you quietly while rubbing your back.

He'll even get you some food and water to have after you've calmed down. However if you do wanna talk about it than he'll wait for you to finish before putting in what he thinks that you need to hear, he's one to tell you the truth tho, he won't lie. If it's something he can help with he'll help you.

After everything is done, he'll put on your favorite show. He'll make your favorite snacks and drinks for you, so that you two can relax. He'll be glad to also if you some cuddles after as well, covering up with your favorite blanket and using your favorite pillows.

 Bakugou-

💥   doesn’t own that many shoes, a few different pairs of trainers or outdoor boots for exercise, a pair of chunky black boots. they form a ritual for him, taking some time each weekend to meticulously oil and buff them. he will wear the stompy boots to red carpet events, no one can even critique it-as they’re polished to perfection

💥  always the first to wake in the morning, has a silent ritual of briefly untangling himself from you, to get up and open the curtains, quickly returning to bed and hold you. thoroughly re-entangling himself, as the sunlight and his meandering patterns down your arms slowly draw you out of your slumber

💥  writes little notes in the margins of his cookbooks on how much you liked each of the dishes he’s made for you, will grill you for information on them once you’ve finished eating. [will sulk if you just say they’re all great, the man wants detailed flavour pallet break downs] sometimes dose it to guest you have over for dinner, as a force of habit & inadvertently terrifies them

Mirio-

☀️  buys you both matching aprons. not matching as in a pair to form a set, but the same apron in both your sizes. they have a catch phrase on them or pun somewhere in the literary standings of ‘suns out, buns out’. it’s in a semi-illegible italic font, unfortunately some eagled eyed guests still sometimes manage to decipher it

☀️   always refers to you as ‘my wife’, even to people he’s met through you [even to your family!]. it’s not in any attempt to rid you of your identity or some act of possession. it’s that when he thinks of you he’s always struck that you chose to spend the rest of your life with him, that you chose to be his wife

☀️ a menace over any chance to put up holiday decorations, not just the big ones. he’ll have the house decked out in festive ware for any occasion, from Christmas to st patricks day, purim to the solstice. (you really need a bigger attic, or to expand storage into the old shed)

Tamaki-

🌥️ he knits, it’s something you found out quite late into the relationship. It was something nejire had mentioned in passing, a soothing habit to pick up for people with anxious hands, you’ll sometimes see him sitting in his chair doing it for a few minutes each morning- before he heads to work. after much reassurance you now have a wonderful collection of scarfs. Somehow, from the hours spent crafting them, they still smell faintly of him

🌥️  meticulously keeps track of dates and anniversaries, not just your own but your friends. Will bring up an event a month in advance with a tone of panic that you no longer have enough time to find the perfect gift and card for, checks notes, three years since miro started work at his current agency

🌥️ bought one of those novelty wooden mailboxes for the front of your house, it’s shaped like a vintage car.  he doesn’t know much about the car it’s (roughly) modelled after, but it makes him very happy every time he goes to pick up the mail

 Sero-

📼  prides himself on teaching you his families’ little recipes. glows with happiness and is repeatedly caught staring if he catches you with any of them, working in the kitchen together- even something as simple as passing some dishes between the two of you

📼 has a separate coat hanger at the door just for hats and beanies. At first, they were only his- and quite a large collection at that, but in winter your ears would get chilly & suddenly you would find a hat plopped on your head. [obviously, he would need to get a new hat to offset the one he just gave away, hence the expansive collection]

📼  it’s inadvertent, but your home has become a small shrine to your relationship and your friends. shelves filled with trinkets from dates, a cork board filled with movie tickets, blurry photo booths, there’s even the entry tickets from the first time he took you to a fair. whenever people come over and see the little artifacts, reminding them of things now slipped to the back of their minds, they’re filled with joy

Kirishima-

❤️ buys you flowers. Whenever he picks them up from the local florist, he always checks how long they are likely to flower for. Has a little calendar event set up on his phone, to remind him when they’re likely to start wilting, so he can get some more for you. you’ll find them on the table each day with a little note left next to them

❤️  pouts if you open a door for yourself, car door, front door, some door at the mall, even pushing a door open with your hip as you wander through your home. any door. will pout

❤️ his parents always get you two couples matching pyjamas each year, it’s always played off akin to the ah socks! joke with mutual humour, but kirishima secretly loves them. he’ll lay them out on the bed for you to wear, the prospect of you two doing your little morning rituals with each other while matching makes him feel at peace. it’s his own cheesy idea of domestic bliss

mirio loves that you get so cheery when you’re high

whether he smokes with you or not 

he always makes sure the kitchen is stocked with all your favorite snacks

he can’t stop himself from laughing when you two have conversations

because you seem to find everything he says so funny

within minutes of you both talking, you’re holding your abdemon from laughing so hard

he just grabs your face and squishes your cheeks before pecking your lips

which causes you to double over again, overwhelmed by laughter

he loves cuddling up with you on the couch to watch funny youtube videos or some cheesy rom-com

because you’re laughing 95% of the time

“i take it you like this show, sunshine!” mirio teases

he’ll always feed you your snacks and kiss your forehead the whole time

he holds you until you end up crashing on his chest

“sleeeepy boy” he chuckles while he runs his fingers through your hair

you falling asleep made him kind of sad because now he couldn’t talk to you

he just really like the sound of your laughter

Dabi

he let out a long exhale as he kicked off his shoes by the door and took off his jacket

he jumped as he heard a loud crash, followed by a “fuck!” 

he rushed into the kitchen to be met with a stack of plastic bowls all over the floor

“you okay?” he asks as he bends down to help you pick it all up, thankfully they weren’t glass

once everything was picked up, you went back to attempting to make some food

dabi just leaned up against the counter and watched you fumble around, surely the bong on the counter had something to do with it

“munchies?” he teases. when you nod, he scoffs playfully, “maybe you can’t cook because you’re so high.” 

you turn around and smack his chest

“rude! i’m hungryy...” you whine

“move over.” he sighs before bumping you with his hip so he can stand next to you in front of the stove

he just quietly helps you cook, occasionally flicking your forehead when you laugh for longer than you normally do

once your food was finished he pulled you onto his lap so you could eat with him

you swing your feet, satisfied as you take your first bites

and the whole time dabi is admiring the huge smile on your face

Katsuki Bakugou

even though he’s got this tough guy persona to him he loves babying you

as soon as he comes home and sees you laying in bed, laughing uncontrollably at your phone, he knew you were less than sober

he sigh with a small smile on his face and walked over to you, lifting your chin so he could give you a kiss

“you want some food?” he chuckles when your eyes light up

“that sounds amazing...” you beam

he ruffles your hair before heading out to the kitchen to make you some noodles

you follow him out, rubbing your reddened eyes before sitting on the counter to watch him

you found yourself laughing again as you watched bakugou carefully preparing your meal with so much care

“what’s so funny?” all you can do is shake your head as you continue laughing, “i’m gonna eat this food myself if you don’t stop laughing at me.”

you immediately get pouty and jump up to latch onto his waist

“i’m sorryyyy~” you peck his cheek laughing again when he groans

“you’re lucky you’re so cute.”

from the moment mirio first held your baby in his arms you knew he was going to be a great father. let’s be honest, hed be one of the best dads out of all bnha boys. it would start with the way your baby instantly smiles whenever he enters the room, little giggles wafting through the air while mirio waves to them and coos at them :(

he calls your baby little sunshine, because they smile like the sun and the sun makes his world go round. mirio is never apart from the little one, always sleeping with them on his bare chest— baby barely taking up any space on his pec while they nap together in the afternoon sun. your baby is always happy, because their daddy is always happy; their emotions are practically in sync— so if baby cries, mirio is right along side them, his lower lip wobbling while you bounce the little one up and down.

“my heart, it’s so broken.”

“mirio, they’re just restless...”

“BROKEN I SAY!”

when baby gets a bit bigger, mirio wakes them up earlier to make panlakes for you. the two of them creating an absolute mess in the kitchen because surprise, mirio keeps phasing through objects just to hear your kid giggle and scream but your heart ends up so warm even if they present breakfast to you with flour smeared across their cheeks. mirio is the cool dad who plays hero with your kid and let’s them win every time, tearing up whenever they tell him ‘i wanna be a hero just like dad!’ And you probably have to spend at least an hour comforting the guy because he can’t stop bawling.

however, my favourite thing about dad!mirio would be, whenever the three of you are out— your kid would fall asleep on mirio’s shoulders, completely knocked out from the day’s events whilst mirio walks you back to the car, fingers intertwined with yours.

Mirio isn’t as big of a flirt as most people liked to believe. Some girls at school mistook his kindness as flirting. As he had to reject girls that asked him out, rumors started to spread, and at UA rumors spread fast, especially if it’s about someone as popular as him. At a certain point a thread page called “Tintin’s Circus” was created for those who claimed they got lead on by Mirio. While Nejire has tried her best to debunk these rumors at a certain point the trio had to come to terms with the fact that these rumors weren’t just from a misunderstanding, but from students who refuse to believe they misread Mirio’s actions. He was nice to everyone and everyone knew that but some swore that he treated them just a little bit better. But a lot of those students had to face the music when you came in the picture.

Mirio looked like a deer in head lights when you first spoke to him, even though all you had done was asked for an eraser since you lost yours. Mirio doesn’t fall in love often but when he does it’s hard and fast. After the first few days of introducing himself and getting to know you you started to notice snacks being left at your desk every morning (he would spend at least an hour trying to guess your favorite and when he finally got it right one day that was usually the snack he got you). He followed you around whenever he could like a lovesick puppy, Tamaki often forced to follow suit because otherwise he’d have to walk by himself. It was blatant to everyone that he had a huge crush on you, which caused an uproar in the school for the 3rd years. Another thread called “The Circus is a lie” got made by a group of students calling out those who claimed they got lead on, saying they’re just upset that they read too far into Mirio’s actions.

Things hit a weird point for you when you got stopped by a group of students one morning. They were supposedly there to warn you about Mirio and his “flirting habits,” warning you to be careful around him. Of course this got over heard by another classmate who told you to pay them no mind because they were jealous that you were the one he liked and not them. You were a smart student, but weren’t the best at catching when people were into you so you quickly brushed them off, letting them know that you were pretty sure Mirio didn’t see you as anything more then a good friend and that just how he showed affection. At least that’s what you thought until you started making your way to class. Everyone had their eyes on you. Was there something on your face? It felt like everyone but you knew something was going down. Was that why you got stopped in the hallway today? Did Mirio actually like you? All of your questions immediately got answered when you saw Mirio standing in the middle of the classroom with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. The rest of the class, who were standing outside all crowed around the doors, wanting to see how this would all play out. Mirio sheepishly handed you the flowers.

“I know most people usually do this once school is over, but I don’t think I would’ve been able to handle the pressure. So… y/n…. Will you go out with me?” His face was beet red and he couldn’t even look you in the eyes. You always had a thing for him but you always just assumed he was just nice to everyone. It seemed as though while some people read too much into his actions, you didn’t read into it enough. When you finally accepted his offer after standing there dumbfounded he picked you up in excitement and spun you around. All of your classmates finally spilled into the room and took their seats, some congratulating you, some ignoring the both of you out of bitterness, but Mirio had always been skillful at ignoring others criticisms when he was just being himself.

now, he doesn't get like this very often, especially since it seems like his energy and stamina are just in a constant loop, but when he does... wow. it might just be the cutest thing ever. his voice gets quiet and even a little raspy, and he hums a lot.

"aw, mirio, you look so tired!"

his response? "hmmmm." with his ever-so-constant smile warm and calming. get this man some caffeine before he cuddles you and keeps you in his iron grip all night! just kidding, i'm sure you'd like that if you're following this blog.

but really, just imagine: his hair's all fluffy, he can hardly keep his eyes open, and he's either curled up next to his s/o (whether that's y/n or another character is up to you), or otherwise a pillow. him like this gives me the same feeling that watching the sunrise does. it's so gentle and sweet and warm. s h i t. sleepy mirio. <3
