Finally blocking my wedding shawl! Queen sized bed for scale. Can't see the bed? Oops, yeah, the shawl is covering everything except the pillows.

Pattern is the Rosemary shawl.

It's not quite squared, but I'm planning on blocking it again closer to the wedding. Just wanted to see how large it was and how many mats I'd need. Literally every blocking mat I own, apparently.

I decided to go through some of my artwork from last year, and I really loved how these turned out!

The first pic is of 2 OCs I made. Mythanal is a monster that eats souls to stay alive and to grow stronger. He's not a good person at all. He will go out his way to kill innocent people and anyone that steps in his cave. Mythos is Mythanal's son, and he eats the corpses of his dad's kills. When he becomes an adult, he vows to kill the people who killed his dad. Mythos doesn't know his dad is a bad being.

The second pic is another OC, Mirith. Mirith is an angel bird thing. That's it. I really didn't develop them. I just thought they looked cool.

The third pic is a family pic in Hollow Knight! It includes the Hollow Knight/Pure Vessel, Hornet, Little Ghost, the Greenpath Vessel, and the Broken Vessel!

I've been knitting so much!!

Finished my first Ranunculus in five (!!!) days.

Finished Knotty but Nice by Rachel Illsley -- quick knit but on hold due to moving.

And my Field Cardigan is coming along... Frustratingly. Only have the button band to do. Have finished and ripped it and finished and ripped it...

I did add a steek to knit it in the round which is a decision I stand by.

For the button band, I basically I picked up stitches from the wrong side, and did the decreases on the wrong side, and picked up stitches with a needle that was too large, and resolved all those issues separately.

But I figured it out! After much trial and much error.

Anyway, that's been the last few weeks of my life.

I have taken up bobbin lace again. Pattern is Jenny Brandis's Rachelle bookmark, which I scaled to 120%, because the Lizbeth size 40 tatting thread was too large. Truncated because, well, it would have been a massive bookmark otherwise.

You can see that the fans get neater and neater. Never quite figured out how to transition into them? Each start/end is different.

My brain has been absolutely itching for some tedious lace, and also spinning. Now that I've done the lace, my brain is insisting we spin some thread to then make into bobbin lace.

Terrible idea, of course, I literally have no time for that. But also, sounds fun!

Yeah okay I was knitting tons of stuff and I have a half finished vest on my desk but also! Have you considered! I could try bobbin lace again!

Just enough knowledge to get in trouble. Decided to try knitting-weight linen and had to quadruple the scale of the pricking. Not a problem, definitely not.

Did learn picots, plaits, and the pointed tallies today though so that's cool.
