How to clean microwave ovens. bit.ly/3qNjWHM Sounds simple, right? Well, it depends on whether you have a stainless steel or a solid color microwave. Also, how often do you clean your microwave? In all fairness, daily microwave cleaning should be simple. 1. Remove the turntable plate and roller it sits on and place in warm dishwashing detergent for later cleaning. 2. Spray mighty101 on the inside and outside of the microwave and let sit for about 10-20 seconds. 3. Spray the product and wipe it off with a sponge or clean damp cloth. If you have a stainless steel or chrome finish, you will need to dampen some tissue paper and polish to a mirror finish after cleaning the oven. Industrial microwave ovens As a food safety consultant, I have come across many situations where food has been baked on hardened food baked inside industrial microwave ovens. I advise those responsible for cleaning microwave ovens to follow the instructions below. 1. Place a half full bowl of regular tap water in the microwave. 2. Set a timer for five minutes and click "Start". 3. Leave the microwave closed for five minutes to allow the steam to penetrate the grease and dirt. 4. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave. (Hot water warning) 5. Spray with Mighty101 and let sit for 10-30 seconds, depending on how hard the dirt has adhered. 6. Wipe dry with a sponge or damp cloth. You may need to repeat this process. If you have a stainless steel or chrome finish, you will need to dampen some tissue paper and polish to a mirror finish after you clean the oven.
