#mis gendering

Brooo i actually so pissed. I go by any pronouns.ANYYYY. which means i want to get referred to w he him pronouns and they them and she her. But people apparently can't get in their head that if I say i go by any pronouns it means not only she her. Refer to me as he him it makes me so fucking happy. But now i have to tell people i go by they them and that still confuses them🫩🫩🫩🫩. The fact that i corrected by best friend about it and she made a face gets me soo mad. And she always makes a face when i correct her.

I hate how when you get mis-gendered and are upset about it, every cis person feels the need to be like "well if we're being honest you don't exactly pass :)"

My ISA sibling and I went out to Dublin and it was fun and all that. But I got mis gendered and it was odd. I asked where the bathroom was and the worker pointed out the way. So I went towards the men's room and he shouted out "no ma'am that's the men's." I turned to him and said "yup. I am a man....." And hen everyone is this building was silent because that's fucking awkward that he not only publicly announced that I was going to the bathroom but that I a man were a woman.

I was talking to a classmate I've never talked to before and the fact that I was trans came up and she asked if I was FtM or MtF and idk what to make of that. Today in my Pros training we are learning about Title IX (sexual assault and gender discrimination laws) so I normally try to check out because I get uncomfortable. There is one slide talking about a trans person being threatened and a fellow co worker says it was "freedom of speech" The Title IX professional said that there's a balancing act when it comes to this kinda stuff There is NO balancing act when it comes to my safety!

Work and ftm problems

It’s so emotionally draining to work with the public in food service and being mis-gendered all day and all the time. All I hear is “Tell the LADY what you want.” “Hello LADIES” “Thank you MA'AM” “ SHE’S getting that for you…” “ mommy is that a boy or a girl?” * parents freaks out * “ shhh that’s a GIRL” tells me “ I’m so sorry” It’s all the time and honestly is getting harder and harder to keep myself in a good mood, I work at least five times a week and it’s just so draining emotionally

(I hadn't drawn here so it was weird that she thought this) Mom: "yes they are very very artistic" Great Great Aunt: "I know this sounds silly but when I first saw your child they seemed like someone that other artists would hang out with and draw together" (Immediately and correctly assuming that I draw) Mom: "Yes. The only time I've had to tell them to stop drawing was during school because in Pre-Algebra which they have to take for band, they were failing due to lack of attention and information from the teacher. I felt so bad saying that." Great Great Uncle: "When has Algebra ever been necessary? I had built things without the help of Algebra." Me: on the bed smiling and loving how my family loves to support me but sometimes can't because of school classes that aren't necessary to my band education and bad teachers. I love my family. Nobody can replace them. Ever.
