hey so what if masumi is a natural blonde and he dyed the top part of his hair black initially to simulate an artificial closeness with his father so maybe he would look at him and think "that's my son" but it never worked and the style just became another thing unique to masumi

what if that's also why, in act 12, all his hair is black: because he has to look just like the father who never looked at him enough to care until it mattered to his job
