What happens when the agents are partying after a huge mission success

this is such a cute request! i love writing for requests that involve all the agents. here’s the agents celebrating after a huge mission success!

it was absolutely raze and jett’s idea to celebrate their success. they went out of their way to plan it all out, getting all the food and making sure everyone knew that they were going to celebrate it. phoenix and killjoy pitched in and helped, even decorating the base a little to help make everything feel more festive. not too much decorating, because it was a hassle to take down and sage and brimstone probably would’ve scolded them for making such a mess, but it made the place feel a lot livelier.

omen, viper, and reyna really didn’t see a point in celebrating. they’ve succeeded on plenty of missions in the past, and they’re probably going to succeed more in the future, so what’s the point in celebrating one success? still, they attend the celebration, mostly because brimstone and the younger agents forced them to attend but partially because they secretly enjoy being included. omen and viper sulked in a corner, drinking coke and... brooding. reyna tried to socialize a little more.

did they sing karaoke as a fun way to celebrate? yes. did reyna totally decimate everyone at karaoke? absolutely. she gets perfect scores no matter what song she sings, and it flabbergasts all the other agents. how someone so devilish can have the voice of an angel, nobody knows. sova also sings a lot more karaoke than everyone expected him to, and though he doesn’t score as high as reyna, he still loves to sing and everyone thinks his singing is adorable. breach tried his hand at karaoke but scored so low that killjoy and cypher just about lost it at how low his score was. he called it singing, but it was probably just really loud screaming.

there was a lot of junk food at this celebration, courtesy of the younger agents. raze probably ordered like seven pizzas, and she and breach probably ate a majority of it. there was soda and also some cheap alcohol for the older and much broodier agents, and sage even made a pot of tea. everyone had a cup of it because they felt bad that sage went out of their way to brew them tea while they were partying and eating junk food.

a lot of really funny videos probably emerged from this party, like sage and skye getting really wasted and losing their minds at karaoke. or omen just straight up passing out in a corner from the combination of alcohol and pizza can omen even eat? someone should’ve taken a video of him eating. the most iconic video, however, had to be of viper laughing so hard at sage and skye it looked like she was going to cry; very out of character for viper, and exactly the reason it’s iconic. when viper found out this video existed, she near tortured all the agents into deleting it. sova secretly has a copy of the video recorded in his eye and cypher has some footage of it saved to a secret camera he hid.

poor sova is probably left with most of the cleanup, but the other agents pitch in to help him tidy up the place afterwards, too. of course the younger agents hate cleaning, but the guilt of leaving sova to do most of the cleaning would weigh too much on their hearts, so they help him out if they can not to mention the scolding they’d get from brimstone and sage would be just as unbearable. next time, though, raze swears that she’ll create an even bigger and definitely messier party, and the other agents are both excited yet dread the cleanup.

What happens when the crew [If you can call them that] comes from a mission injured/exhausted? (Please don't mind me just looking for some fluff between the agents)

ooh, i love looking into the dynamics between all the agents, so i’ve really been looking forward to answering this one. here are headcanons for the agents coming back from a mission injured and exhausted! i know you said “crew”, which is undoubtedly a fun thing to call the agents, but i’m just going to assume you mean. all of them WBHDBJFB

everyone always comes back from a mission feeling sore all over and just wanting to take a hot shower and sleep for what feels like forever, even the agents who usually stay on the sidelines and provide support via their intel gathering utility ( like killjoy and cypher ) or by patching up those who are wounded so they can get back out there ( sage and skye ). everyone has a part to play on the battlefield and they always go all out, so naturally they’d be exhausted.

tending to the wounded comes first; the duelists are always super scratched up and covered in wounds after missions, especially when they need to get their hands dirty. raze is always covered in small cuts and even a few light burns from her explosions that require plenty of extra care. sometimes jett and phoenix will have broken bones from trying to make big plays that also need patching up. sage and skye are the go-to agents when it comes to healing and medical aid, though viper provides support too... if you’re willing to be an experiments for a new serum or formula she’s testing out.

brimstone can’t express enough how proud he is of his agents for being brave enough to get out there on the battlefield and risk their lives the way they do. he always make sure to treat them well after missions, and is always on top of getting everyone the first aid and the treatment they need. he’s always got granola bars and water bottles on hand for the agents to have while they’re on their way home, just to supplement them until they can have some actual food back at the base. it really helps boost their morale. omen always takes extra granola bars, but no one has ever seen him eat them

raze and jett will often retell their missions on the way back, acting them out and dramatizing every single moment. it’s just another way to boost the tired agents’ morale, yet it’s surprisingly effective; they’ll do impressions of the other agents acting cool or even choking up on missions ( all in good fun, of course ), and there’s lots of pleasant banter between whose impression of who is best. one time raze did a funny impression of viper, to which viper got up and nearly blew their helicopter back to base to smithereens as a joke. nobody dared impersonate her again.

once they’ve arrived back, a lot of the agents will slump down somewhere comfortable in the lounge and lay there, let their aching muscles relax, maybe even fall asleep. sage makes everyone herbal tea to help soothe their aches and pains, and if they’re all there it’s a good way to spend time together after a mission is over. phoenix is always one of the first agents to just straight up pass out on the sofa after returning home. sova once lent him his cape as a blanket. it was really wholesome.

cypher, killjoy, and raze will often do maintenance on their own gadgets as well as the other agents’ technology need be; raze will tinker around with breach’s arms so that they’re in tiptop shape for the next mission, and killjoy will agonizingly remind brimstone that his tactical gauntlet is simply locked, and thatthe wifi isn’t down. it never is.

The agents celebrating the holidays?

this is probably the most wholesome request in my inbox, and since it’s probably also the easiest one for me to answer, i’ll see what i can do. here are some headcanons for the agents celebrating the holidays!

since all the agents come from different cultural backgrounds, they try and incorporate parts of their own cultures into the holiday celebration. a lot of it is mostly the food; there’s a huge variety in the kinds of foods they serve during christmas, with dishes from all over the world. a lot of the cooking is primarily handled by brimstone, sage and sova, who are quite avid cooks. sage probably went out of her way to learn how to cook at least one dish from each of the agents’ different cultural backgrounds.

i’m surprised no one has thought of this yet, but the agents obviously do secret santa, just for the fun of it. basically they draw another agent’s name from a bag and are tasked with getting the other person a gift, and the agents don’t know who got their name etc... it either goes really well or one agent gets another agent something that totally backfires. one time, omen got jett a big knife as her secret santa gift. sharp objects were then promptly banned from being acceptable secret santa gifts.

when the protocol was still new and there were only a handful of agents, no one really bothered with decorating. but after raze joined the protocol, decorating became a tradition every year. jett, phoenix, and even skye and killjoy help her out with things like hanging lights and even setting up a small christmas tree in the base’s lounge room, and a lot of the other agents can really appreciate the effort they go through to make the base more cheerful around the holidays. their christmas tree is probably a real tree skye uprooted from the forest, just for the authenticity.

there are christmas carols playing on loop in the lounge at all times during the holidays. brimstone probably broadcasts christmas carols over the p/a system, maybe just to annoy the other agents like omen and viper. breach just likes to scream verses from different christmas carols down the hall and, surprisingly enough, reyna seems to enjoy them; headcanon that reyna is a really good singer, and that she likes to flex on the other agents with her vocal range and just how impressive her singing can be. she’s like a siren; you hear her voice and are mesmerized by it before she kills you or something. reyna is so cool.

of course they stay up late and watch christmas movies when brimstone lets them. they’ll all huddle together on the couch or on the floor and binge christmas movies until the early hours of the morning, and it’ll be a mess when they have to clean it up in later because some agents are much messier eaters than the others. it’s usually the younger agents like raze and phoenix who choose what movies they watch, just so it’s kept pg13, but sometimes cypher will choose a more adult oriented movie just to cater to the other agents. omen takes up like half of the couch space because he is just a big cat.

obviously they celebrate new year’s too!! brimstone can never stay up late enough to make it to midnight, so he’s always abruptly woken up by the other agents screaming about how it’s new year. the less excitable and more adult agents take this opportunity to get absolutely wasted, because it’s the perfect time for someone like cypher to break open a fancy bottle of champagne. where’d he get it from? who knows? someone probably has a video of viper singing karaoke at the top of her lungs while she stands on top of a table because she just got so wasted, and she’s vowed to kill whoever took that video of her.
