A letter to my daughter I’ll never get to hold;
Hi baby girl,
I hope you’re doing okay up in the sky, mommy and daddy miss you so much. From the day we knew you’d be ours we bought you so many little things we think you’d like. Now that you’re gone we still do the same. We leave them with your memorial so they’re close to you. Daddy would kiss mommy’s tummy every night so you would feel his love too. I wonder if you would be able to hear us always saying “I love you baby”. But, now that you’re gone we keep your picture bedside and give you kisses every night. I wonder how beautiful your smile would be, or what your little finger prints would look like. If you’d have my eyes and daddy’s smile. Or if you’d have my beautiful red hair. I wonder what your little giggles would sound like, or what your favourite colour would be. I feel like you’ve been stolen from us, all those future possibilities of us being a family were taken away the day you left us. We’ll never get to take a family photo of us at Christmas for Christmas cards or have you open your presents on your first birthday. Instead, every year, mommy and daddy will celebrate the life you did spent with us. You’ll always get a little cupcake with how old you’d be, and we’ll blow out your candle for you. My baby girl, you’ll always be with us, even if I never get to hold you or sing you to sleep. Forever my baby you’ll be. Daddy always says you were too good for this world, and that’s why you had to leave us; and I believe that’s true. You were too pure and innocent for this world. Remy Laine, you’ll always be our little girl.
I love you baby girl,
Mommy 💕

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month
I’ve taken some time away from writing and making videos on the topic of miscarriage and stillbirth for the better part of this year. We experienced our second miscarriage in December of 2020, but I didn’t go through the physical miscarriage until January. Although in theory this should have been a realitively safe process compared to the stillbirth of our daughter in 2020, I came as close to…

For all the babies that were carried but never held, and for all those that were held but are no longer here. They will forever be a part of our whole. 🌈💫💔💗
Today, we've received our baby's urn. I cried a lot. Just how tiny our baby was...We still love them the same. We didn't get their gender, so this piece is gender neutral. In honor for our baby and all other mother's babies, I have designed this piece. Not only have I made this design, but multiples of different skin tones and texts. Parents, mothers and fathers can all have their own designs here as t-shirts, mugs, ect: https://www.teepublic.com/user/faithwalkers/albums/101612-miscarriage-awareness
Sorry for the big watermark. I don't want anyone to steal my work. This is a miscarriage awareness painting.
Today I tell my story. Today I do not hide and cry in the privacy of my closet. Today I cry in public and I let the world know.
1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage.
1 in 50 pregnancies will end in ectopic pregnancy.
I am both the 15% of miscarriages and the 2% of ectopic.
I have lost my left Fallopian tube. Had emergency surgery because my ectopic ruptured and I was bleeding internally.
I have cursed and cried and yelled and punched wondering just how I got the shit luck.
Why my babies didn’t make it.
Why my body was incapable of allowing me to carry a baby and become a mom.
Why my hopes and dreams didn’t matter to the universe.
Today we say #FUCKLOSS.
Today we let the world know that we are not “weak” because we are sad. We are strong because we live every single day with that pain.
Today and every day we will let the women that go through this know that they are not alone. That their feelings matter. And their babies mattered.
Go ahead. Ask me how old my miscarriage would be. Ask me how far along I would be if mine wasn’t an ectopic. Because I know.
To the Mom who never got to hear a heartbeat. To the Mom who never got a chance to hold her baby in her arms. To the Mom whose baby left in the blink of an eye. To the Mom whose child left this world too soon. To the Mom whose grown baby went to Heaven. To all the moms who have loved so well and endured such a heavy loss.... we see you, we love you, we're here for you. Today and every day.
To all us Mama's that won't ever get to hold our babies.
