oops round two of rangers coming at you. descriptions below the cut--
Mark Whittle, Orange Wild Force Ranger: Mark doesn’t believe in the Animaria or anything magical. He’s precocious in that way any many others, thinking he’s above it all despite being the youngest ranger. It takes a serious instance of magic appearing and whacking him in the face to set him straight.
Claire Luna, Purple Wind Ranger: A rock climber, Claire might be the only one of the team who actually meant to get to class on time. The only thing that stopped her was her ropes getting tangled with another climber, and they had to spend an hour saving themselves. She doesn’t know why Shane has been made the leader when he doesn’t even care about being a ranger.
Rikki Watson, Pink Wind Ranger: Roller derby star Rikki only joined the Wind Ninja Academy for the thrill, and if she can get it elsewhere, she’s liable to be late or even skip class entirely. Like with Tori, Shane, Dustin, and Claire, this saves her life one day, and as a last ditch effort to stop Lothor, she’s given a morpher.
Callie Gordon, Purple Dino Ranger: Callie didn’t do anything except be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then, she got stuck in detention with three troublemakers and, oh yeah, kidnapped on a museum field trip. Because what else could go wrong? Oh, that’s right, she’s able to stretch her body like freaking Mr. Fantastic.
Destiny Scott, Gold Dino Ranger: After retiring as the red ranger, Destiny thought her superheroing days were over. She and her husband Tommy Oliver moved to Reefside, and after years of a work-life balance as a prima ballerina, she’s got this normal stuff in the bag. But when Tommy tells her about a project that led to the destruction of his lab, she knows she’s in for a wild ride.
Mischa Barnes, SPD Orange Ranger: Mischa is the B-team of the B-team. She’s a glorified janitor and is treated as such. Number 6, orange, however you want to say it, no one expects much from her. Even the “street rats” get higher commendations than her. But she’s determined to prove them all wrong, and she’s gonna be the best damn ranger the SPD has ever seen.
Jeffery Bly, Bronze Mystic Ranger: Jeffery became a ranger only because he follows his brother around like a lost puppy. He’s energetic and excited to become a ranger, but his ability to control the earth itself makes him dangerous if he can’t get it under his control.
Nicole Hartford, Green Overdrive Ranger: When she finds out her nephew is going to become a ranger, Nicole drops her work alongside her brother Andrew to become the green ranger. She’s an anthropologist and archaeologist at heart and is sometimes distracted by her interest in the artifacts they encounter, but she’s dedicated to her family above all else.
Nomi Chilman, Green Leopard Ranger: Where Lily is the free-spirited adventurer, Nomi prefers to look before she leaps. She and Theo find a common ground in being the “good twin” who’s often overshadowed by their dynamic siblings.
Massie Hunt, Pink Lion Ranger: Massie, like Casey, is a new student at the Pai Zhuq Academy. As in- brand new. As in first day new. It was only a gut feeling that led her to follow Jerrod, and when she realized what he was doing, she attempted to intervene and stop him. For her bravery, she was awarded the power of the pink lion ranger.
