saw a "Who is older Vanessa or Michael" (i might have reblogged it idk i reblog so much) and I was stunlocked because like.

Michael was the oldest in the games, and he always sort of had a "protect the younger kids from our dad" sort of vibe to me despite all his shittyness, a sort of Being so focused on his dad that he ended up sorta warped in a bad way that required scooping/death to fix (sort-of). Plus, in the movie, his fanatical obsession with his dad hurts a lot more if you think about how Vanessa is the favourite child, and he's just been thrown away, which would definitely make him "overcorrect" in an attempt to be better than Vanessa, who never loved her dad the same way Michael did, she doesnt deserve her dads favoritism, Michael is right there! being the perfect son! Why cant his dad just look at him for once?

But on the other hand, Movie Michael has baby energy. little guy. smol wet cat.

(thats not to say there aren't interesting and compelling aspects to Michael's character if he were the younger child. I'm not projecting my older sibling issues at all.)

by the way can we talk about how "half this town will be dead by morning" is just a completely inaccurate statement? the toys move so slowly lol i couldn't see them killing more than maybe 50-60 people in a night, and it still feels like a really generous estimate. mikey, baby, let go of your fathers murderous legacy, you are so not built for this
