Omega Flowey is supposed to be mandatory for Pacifist. Maybe you fought him on a previous run without a True Reset in between?

I'm at work for the next few days, but i have a brand new version of Undertale on my switch that i havent played yet. I think I'll also try to find an older version of Undertale on PC in case the newer versions changed that mechanic (In the past i played a version that my friend gave me the files for through an email, and i'm not too sure he got that copy 100% legally. I've lost those files years ago though)

tbh it might have been no true reset leading me to be able to skip flowey, but from my memory, i was able to go through the Core all the way to Mettaton, have that final scene with alphys before you get to New home, and then you just turn around and leave the Core, and right before you get to the MTTresort, Papyrus will call. I remember fighting Omega Flowey on one of the last few playthroughs i ever did of Undertale, and i was so bad at it because I never had to fight him.

I'll update this in a bit, I'll play my switch when I can, and will look at PC versions sometime next week, which'll suck cause i play a laptop with weird arrow Keys.

Does everyone know that you don't have to fight Omega Flowey to get True Pacifist? I just remembered every single guide I used back in the day always had you fight Flowey, but then when I went back for more items, Papyrus called me once i left the Core, asking me to hang out with Undyne. It just completely skips Flowey. And back then I was losing my mind because I felt like I knew this cool secret but nowadays I'm pretty sure most guides had Omega Flowey because playing against him at least once is vital for the player experience, I feel.

He was originally supposed to look more like an Ant and had four arms in his early concept drawings

He'd do ANYTHING to entertain you and is desperate for validation

He has abandonment issues and deeply misses his ex who also happens to be a tumblr sexyman

He's emotionally unstable and has rapid moodswings

He would definetly cry and be depressed for weeks if he lost the contest

He's a single dad who loves his daughter

He is traumatized and just wants to be loved
