Brace for pouncing! Mischief Incoming in 3... 2... 1...
I can't promise regular updates or anything, but look who we brought home on 8/20!
Her name is Sugar and she's an English cocker spaniel born 6/3 and I love her so much.
She had her second round of shots the day after we brought her home and she did so good and they gave her this adorable space bandana.
She's already mastered silly sleeping positions.
She's learned how great beanbag chairs are.
She's joined the local crime syndicate, whose main activities are stealing from fellow members and tormenting the elderly.
(She and Gurgi steal from each other constantly, and she hasn't yet learned that Pippin the elderly Shih tzu will never like her and she won't leave him alone poor guy).
She is soft and loving and also, puppy naughtiness notwithstanding, currently the best behaved of the dogs, though admittedly that doesn't take much.
So yeah! A puppy lives in my house and she's my dream breed and even my preferred colors! (She's colored exactly like her dad; her mom looks a lot like @doomspaniels Guinevere) Holy shit!
Mischief(tm)
We have this pop-top treat box on the cabinet by the front door. Several days ago Tristan climbed over from behind the cabinet and cleaned out the box, which fortunately didn't have much in it. Tristan's Fetch and Tug Buddy apologized for leaving the lid off.
But then yesterday I saw Tristan climb around the back of the cabinet again, reach over and confidently smack the pop-top, then start trying to pry the top off once he popped the seal. I think Tristan's Fetch and Tug Buddy may have taken responsibility for an accident that was very intentionally caused by someone else...
The Face Of Betrayal: the treat box has been castled and Tristan will not be able to reach it (until he solves THIS new puzzle...)
I was trying to get a pic of Gwyn's feather regrowth, but look at that mischievous glint in her eyes.
I wouldn't swap Gwyn for the rag she had rightfully stolen.
Tristan's Fetch and Tug Buddy wouldn't pay her for it either.
Why won't anyone treat this like the serious crime it is??
