Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo?

When it comes to working w/ others, Marius definitely prefers the company and help that other people can provide. A huge part of why he returned to the barricade wasn’t simply because he wanted to die ( which must be remembered as his biggest reason, however ), he wanted to be with the people he considered his brothers ( should we consider his words in the musical, that is! ). Les Amis was, to him, a band of brothers. A family. That’s something Marius needed, and I think all of the things he learned from being part of such a group is vital to understanding him. Because of Les Amis he understands the importance of helping others and of supporting each other. At the same time, he learned to socialize. And for someone who was once so lonely, I think that says a lot.

At the same time, Marius does have tendencies to run off and do things on his own. Threatening to blow up the barricade, for one, is a very good example of that. He’s more keen to be on his own and to complete his own promises and projects and chores, but I think if he was given the choice, he’d rather do things with a group of people than on his own.

Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?

He’s definitely the type who needs to multi-task, he never really focuses on just one thing at a time he has to be doing something else, listening to music or at least having something on in the background. At the very least he needs to be doing something with his hands at all times, playing with loose threads or pens or something of the sort. He finds it very hard to just focus on one thing, which makes studying a little difficult for him, so ‘Ferre and Enjolras have learned how to help him study while chatting or watching reruns or something. He definitely gets a lot done when he puts his mind to it, though.
