This pattern matches the smear campaign pattern against Blake Lively and Amber Heard

Why do this? I have some theories: since Taylor Swift is seen as a force for encouraging new voters, I wonder if there was some effort here to sway folks away from the side with all these "extreme liberals." I've seen more than my fair share of Swifties who felt hurt or put off by these posts. We can complain about shallow politics all we want, but that is still a part of the reality we currently live, and I wonder if efforts were made here to affect a large chunk of the voter base.

This should stand as a lesson to avoid any reactionary content and regard all claims online (about really- anything, but particularly popular content and evocative events) with a keen level of suspicion. Social media is full of bots and bad actors. Cite sources, check info, and recognize that you too are not immune to propaganda
