FYI, Prager U is buying ad spots on YouTube to spread propaganda and misinformation around the Israel Gaza conflict. They are actively trying to claim that Israel is the most humanitarian army and would never bomb hospitals or civilians. If you get one, report it for misinformation. This is a repeated behavior from them.

I've had a coworker tell me to my face that bees don't actually eat the honey in the winter and that they don't die for people to get the honey 🙃

I just read a very nice line by another vegan which is very apt for people like your co-workers.

"Twisting reality to justify their choices"

This is basically what animal exploiters do, either out of genuine ignorance or a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation to cover up their animal abuse.

Which one was your co-worker? Genuinely ignorant or just spreading misinformation?

PS If anyone is interested in knowing what's wrong with honey, here you go: Bees make it for themselves, it's their food and doesn't belong to us. The wings of queen bees are cut off so that they can't escape the prison and the hive stays with them. The females are forcefully impregnated (sexual assault is one of the main pillars of the animal abuse industry), the bees are fed cheap replacers and the hives are burnt alive if they're no longer profitable. Here's a short 1 minute video detailing the animal cruelty in the honey industry. The same channel (YV Care) has a more detailed 12 minute video as well on honey cruelty. They are an Indian channel, but these cruel practices are standard worldwide.
