Locking in really does pay off. Rendering and lighting often spook me and I try to cell-shade more often, but doing this traditional-ish method with no blending, just colors and hues and making the middle of the picture more-or-less their light source. Also painting pallets and details I haven't gotten to with this tablet was so satisfying! (PS. I think O'saa's jacket is made of some sort of silk fabric and fur patches, very important to know for texture). I also weirdly adore how hurt Stitches looks around her cheeks, since she's actively trying to sew her mouth closed when you encounter her. It'd be more red than her scalp. Honestly I could ramble about each of them. Who's your favorite? I've got 8 expressions left and I will FINALLY have completed this challenge! :D
I have been trying to render this on and off for months, but it just didn't click. An old-time collage/scrapbook page felt right for the vibes surrounding Da'an's fateful trip to Prehevil. It's not something I usually do, at least not in this manner, but I don't know how to really bring it home- so to speak. Still, I couldn't let the attempt go to waste trying something new, concluded or not. (No closure.. sounds familiar . . . ) Otherwise, behave <3

5.26.2024- It Starts with Practice Much like the cherubs of that famous painting looking bored, Razzle and Dazzle absolutely stole this piece but I don't mind. I was inspired by a father/daughter duo Donnell and Mary Leathy. She sadly suffered an injury that would have prevented her from performing at a live event and her father stepped in to help. I'd love to think of Lucifer helping Charlie get into music- and her other arm (instead of being in a cast) just got occupied by Keekee. You wouldn't have the heart to put her down, would you!?
Holy moly, Okay, I finally found the origin of my TLOZ AU idea, it all started with my spooky little skull kid / kokiri (skullori) idea. I imagine after some time there would be blended variations or kokiri would eventually have to be tougher. See that little spike knee bracer? He totally stole it from Ganondorf and is going home to show all of his friends. Then above is some early concept designs for zurudo people (they're so unpolished ;w; ) also I had to sensor my name on these before I did my little MA signature. I hope peeps can trust me on that that these are in fact my drawings and all that but I really didn't want to leave these unshared today <3
A windwaker AU I've thought up where a portion of the Zora are left behind in Hyrule as Ganon takes over before the great flood. Their culture and the gerudo's blend and their tribes become one. Even the evolution of 'the silent princess' flower takes a turn thanks to the magical influence of the legendary Twin Rovas. The culture freely practices magic and always known the sky to wave.
