When I was like 13 I made three fan kids between Mae and Sammy (yes their ship has been around that long </3) and one of them was this edgy manic-pixie-dream-girl nonbinary named Scythe. Their whole gimmick was that they really badly wanted to be a serial killer for some reason??? There's a long-winded explanation for that if anyone's curious 😭

I grew to REALLY hate Scythe over the years because I thought she was too edgy and now that I'm back into the Mae x Sammy ship, I figured I'd try to rework Scythe for a hypothetical AU.

So now we have Sylvia Lawrence!! She's 10, an only child, and her passion lies within the violin. She doesn't know it yet, but she'll grow up to have the worst resting-bitch-face ever and the most catastrophic combination of autism and ADHD 😔

The majority of Black people my age had a Miss Mae in their lives. Someone who taught you how to navigate in a country that despised you because of your color. The challenges Black people face while navigating white spaces are impossible to avoid if you want to be a productive member of society. It ain't easy being Black almost anywhere in this world, but we are a proud and resilient people.

Still very proud that markiplier and Miss Mae were able to be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight. This is so important for the youtube gaming community as well as Team Internet as a whole. It’s important because these people need to be known in the mainstream media. These guys have actual people watching them too, and it won't be long until shows like Jimmy Kimmel need to rely on more Youtubers and other social media stars to get more attention. We are the new media.

At my niece's 9 month check up last month, she was 19lbs. At Jude's last doctors appointment when she was sick, she was 24ish pounds.. She's gonna be 8 months on the 11th.. She doesn't look bigger than Kayla, but you can feel the difference when you hold them. I have a solid baby haha
