Look at her!!!!!!!!!! Miss Point - Plaid Petal Bunny JSK, review under the cut

First off this has pockets AND shirring AND a side zipper so this is already a great dress in my book.

The fabric is very nice, it's a poly-cotton blend with full cotton lining. This makes it very comfortable to wear and, although I haven't worn it out yet, it seems like it would be breathable even in warmer weather. It's definitely not a summer dress but I can see this being very nice both for spring and autumn. The skirt is on the heavier side and I find it works best with a hoop skirt since my petticoats are .. In Their Golden Years ...

The lace is of good quality, most of it is crochet and seems easy to iron. The ribbons are equally good and the small bows are properly attached to the skirt, something that even big brands like to neglect.

Overall the construction is great, all seams are strong and I found almost no loose threads

As for fit, I tend to size up to accommodate blouses and petticoats + my height, so I got the size medium and it's a little big on me, especially around the chest, but it's nothing super noticeable. I'll know for next time that their dresses are actually true to size 👍

It came with detachable waist ties but i am straight up too weak to tie those behind my back because of how large they are ? I'm thinking of Doing Something to them, either make them thinner or just take the dress in a bit and turn the waist ties into accessories. It also came with this stuffed bow for the front waist but it's pretty wonky so this too is on the chopping block, it would probably make a good KC if I take some of the stuffing out (threat)

All in all this is a gorgeous dress and I think Miss Point is quickly becoming my favorite indie brand :)

I'm back in class now, but I only have three more weeks until I'm free (done that class, but not a different one. Also I have to apply to uni once I finish the class and learn to drive) and then I can do whatever I want!

I got the waistcoat for Christmas and I really wanted to style it without needing to iron the matching skirt. Also I haven't worn this skirt since April (!!!!!) and I felt bad because it's just so cute.
