Bacio Bouquet Popcorn Carnival

I vended at my first art fair last weekend and I dressed to match my booth! My art name is DuckyPop and my art is themed around rubber ducks and popcorn. It was so much fun getting to share my art with others and I'm looking forward to the next time. Thanks for stopping by!

After watching the new Masters of the Universe movie I knew I needed to make some He-Duck art! This may be the silliest thing I have made yet. Putting muscles on a tiny rubber duck made me giggle out loud.

This may be one of the silliest things I have made yet and I love it so much.

This was a coordinate I wore for my very first art show! I was showcasing my artwork as @duckypopart and it went really well. It was my first time publicly displaying my artwork!

This coordinate is also my ponysona because the name Ducky Pop comes from my ponysona! They run a traveling movie caravan with a projector screen and popcorn booth. The logo for my artist tag is the same as their cutiemark and Poppy the Popcorn Duck, featured in much of my artwork, is the rubber duck in the cutiemark!

So, a lot of my art is really just My Little Pony fan art in disguise.

We went to a hot air balloon event where the hot air balloons filled up at sunset and they timed their fire glow to music. It was really beautiful.

I recently learned about ACEOs and I thought they were really cool so I decided to make a few of my own! Here are my first 2.5" x 3.5" oil pastel ACEOs. They all feature Poppy the Popcorn Duck, which is based on my DuckyPop logo which comes from my Ponysona cutiemark! Now my lore has lore!

I think this movie theater one is my personal favorite. I had a lot of fun with all of the little details. It was a big challenge!

This one is titled 'Little Orphan Ducky' and is based on Little Orphan Annie, which is one of my favorite characters of all time. The Annie musical is my favorite musical and the comic book character is so long lasting! So spunky.

This one shows Poppy pulling a popcorn cart. I haven't decided if Poppy owns the cart or if Poppy found it and stole it in excitement over the popcorn...

This was an acrylic paint piece on recycled cardboard that I made for my mother in law many years ago. It incorporated elements of some of her favorite things. I still really love this painting. She has meant so much to me over the years; she is a lovely person and very supportive.

I went to a popup shop for Hoshibako Works yesterday and purchased this mustard yellow headdress. I think it will be very versatile in my wardrobe. I compared it to a few of my yellow dresses and it looked like a good match!
