Hello Witches! Happy Friday!
Used as a promotion for the TV show, "Dark Shadows," The Miss American Vampire Contest in 1970 required girls aged 18-25 to send in pictures of themselves in vampiric outfits, the prize being a week long role in ABC's series "Dark Shadows." The contest was held across the country but the two that generated the most competition were held in New York City and Los Angeles. Christine Dominiecki was cast in the series although Sacheeen Littlefeather is said to have been declared the true winner of the contest.
