Last night’s Music for Miracles concert was a huge success, with amazing music and money raised for Children’s Miracle Network, however this photo is my favorite one of the entire night, as the Miss Minnesota Organization recognized Oliver Kezar and his family. At this time last year, he had a life threatening Rhinovirus case and we didn’t know if he would see his 7th birthday. It was incredibly scary, but CMN replaced that fear with hope. Oliver’s health journey has not been easy, but thanks to CMN and Gillette Children’s, he is thriving. This family is so special and they are one of the biggest reasons why I do what I do. They are some of the best neighbors, Piper is a Northern Lights Princess, and according to Oliver, my real name is “Emma Wiggle” (I look just like her when I am in pigtails!) After the concert was done and everyone had left, it was just myself, a friend of mine, and his family. The crown came off, the pretty dresses were put away, and out came the silly hairstyle and snuggles.
