University - @missannelister
Ann Walkers time in high school wasn’t exactly a good one, she was very bright, but she didn’t get along with a lot of her classmates, and she was frequently stressed because of her perfectionism. She was always one to get along better with people much older than herself, that definitely came into play when she met Anne Lister, she was a distant neighbor but she never really spoke to her, the only time she did was right after her high school graduation, when her parents passed away, and that visit was more for Ann’s sister Elizabeth than it was for Ann herself, though during that short amount of time, she found herself absolutely enamored by Anne Lister. Sadly, when she left that day, she didn’t seen her again, at least, not until a few years later.
Now, Ann Walker is a first-year in University, she honestly wasn’t planning on going to College, as she wanted to pursue her art for the most part, which was going very well. But after 3 years of her family pressuring her to get at least a 2 year degree, she caved.
Her family paid for her to go to a very prestigious school in London, where she majored in Business and minored in Fine Arts, as she wanted to run her own personal Art Store when she graduated, a business degree would certainly help.
Her dorm was small, but it was a single, and she liked her alone time, so she didn’t mind the size of the room as long as she didn’t have to deal with any noisy roommates.
She sat in her dorm room, watching for the clock to strike 9:45, so she’d have time to go to her first business class, at 10:00. When it did, she hopped up from her seat and left the building, getting to her bicycle and riding to the large building that was the university.
As she walked down the hall, looking at all the classroom numbers, 2-12 Mr Kinch, 2-13 Mr Washington, 2-14 Mrs Sowden, and finally, 2-15 Miss Lister. She knew she recognized the name from her high school crush, but she assumed it was just a coincidence, it had to be, right?
The blonde was still 5 minutes early, but regardless she stepped into the classroom, spotting the tall, slim figure who’s back was facing her, and as soon as she turned around to face her, Ann’s heart dropped.
“Anne?”
