Which of the Yotsus would be scared when watching a Horror - Movie and snuggle to his significant other and which one would play it cool (or at least even try)?

i have to thank you for this ask bc it got the image of an AU where kida is a movie critic into my head. blessed.

honestly, though, i’d say a good number of them aren’t really affected by horror movies – ooi and namikawa in particular don’t really react to them at all even if ooi is probably having a good time somewhere in there (depends on who he’s with, really). kida isn’t a big fan of horror movies, but he is good at handling gore, even if he tends to fall prey to jumpscares … so, it depends on the type of horror movie with him, although he tends to get caught up in the technical aspects more than he does just … watch the movie itself. he isn’t a huge snuggler nonetheless, but when he’s scared or surprised it’s … obvious. mido isn’t easily scared, but blood, gore, and stuff in the same vein (get it? vein?) makes him squeamish. 

shimura does Not do well with horror movies. he avoids them like the fucking plague, and you’d have to be pretty close to him (like, significant other or very close friend) to convince him to watch one in the first place. and even then he will need comforting (so snuggling is an option here), unless it’s a particularly bad movie. takahashi doesn’t do too well either, but he does better and is more easily convinced.

hatori is, i think, the type who just enjoys watching movies in general, so he’d be pretty enthusiastic at the prospect. he’s not hard to scare, but he still has fun doing things like watching scary movies – and, in the end, i headcanon him as physically affectionate with people he loves anyways so he’s the one you’re most likely to actually have a good time with… 

higuchi is the one who tries to play it cool. sorry, i don’t make the rules. higuchi gets fucking terrified but tries to act like he’s not scared bc he’s totally a Big Strong Macho Man or … something like that. he’s pretty paper thin, though. rip gucci.

hey! i’m assuming you mean this in a romantic sense? if not, feel free to correct me. (mostly hc based and under the cut jic even though it’s really not very long lmao)

higuchi ... i mean, he doesn’t, really. there’s a piece of dialogue in the anime where he says he still thinks about some of his ex-girlfriends, which is probably an accurate statement. if someone breaks his heart, he probably stays stuck on them until someone else comes along to catch his attention...

namikawa is someone i hc as on the aromantic spectrum (even if there is a small amount of potential there), so it’s unlikely enough that he’ll need to get over anyone in the first place. besides shimura maybe. idk man he probably just strokes his own ego until he feels better bc he’s a dick :^/ *shrugs*

ooi doesn’t have an issue getting over people, at all. in fact, he’s more likely to move on first, as rare as it is for him to feel any sort of intense romantic attachment anyway. if he did end up on the receiving end, though, he would probably just go about his life like normal and ignore it until he involved himself in other things and felt better. he wouldn’t make a big deal about it.

mido ... gosh, to be honest, the poor child probably drinks in the face of most emotional issues and just kind of moves past it over time, tbh. i don’t even know what else to say for this one except :^(

i think it depends on how deep into their relationship he and his partner had been for takahashi. although he’d be very sad at first, he’d bounce back pretty quickly if it was early enough in. if it wasn’t early in and he was deeply attached to this person, it would last longer and he’d probably try to forget about it by finding someone else to focus his attention on.

anyone who breaks shimura’s heart would have to be one cold bastard ... smh. he is definitely upset for a long time - not in an angry way, but he just kind of gets sad and quiet (well, more than usual) and depressed. comfort from a friend would be most helpful, but otherwise he just has to give it time.

kida, bby. he definitely would not want to get caught up over something like that and tries his hardest to ignore it, but he’s more upset about it than he tries to be and it lasts longer than he’d want it to. in fact, it’s difficult for him to admit to himself that he’s as hurt as he is. basically, he ... just tries to ignore it and pretend it isn’t there until it goes away. he probably buries himself in his work tbh.

hatori’s overall reaction is probably similar to shimura’s. he gets very sad and upset for a good while and just has to give it time, although comfort from someone else close to him would do a lot of good.

Who do you think was the laziest/ most chaotic in their college - days?

sorry this took me a few days to get to! i totally missed it somehow. probably bc i’ve been rlly busy but yes anyways!!

a lot of them (probably all, as a matter of fact, but i know very little about individual colleges) went to p fucking prestigious schools? i’m not sure how college life might differ in japan than where i live, but as far as chaotic goes, i don’t think many of them fit the bill too well. hatori probably comes closest bc he is generally an unorganized guy, but it depends on what exactly you mean by ‘chaotic’? as far as lazy goes, i don’t think many of them are very lazy generally speaking? mido has depression to handle here but those rlly aren’t the same thing at all ghfjgfdjg

that said this is probably a good question to ask someone who is actually in college aha

hatori wins. honestly? hatori probably has good dance moves. i mean, ‘good’ is a relative term w the yotsus, but. he knows what he’s doing, probably. plus takahashi might be too embarrassed to do that kind of thing very well, depending on the situation.

as for music ... i’ll admit that i’m not sure what it would make Actual Sense to be playing but then again. the idea of them in a dance battle is kind of removed from canon, so it’s whatever, lmao. i like to headcanon takahashi’s favorite band as the b-52s, so?? maybe stuff along those lines. OR JUST MUSIC THAT IS POPULAR IN THAT AREA AND TIME... it’s kind of dependent, haha.
