What do you think happened to Megatron after the events of Predacons Rising? What's he up to now?
I think he tried to regroup what was left of the Decepticons and then retrieved Soundwave from the shadowzone (because Decepticon engineering is unmatched by anything, except for maybe Autobot ingenuity).
His “death” was a wakeup call to the fact that he was being too careless with the lives of those under his command, and that he has the responsibility to take care of them and ensure their survival because of how many lives were lost during the War
Megatron is one of those villains who always has the opportunity to redeem himself, and taking the time to hang back and regroup his own under the new purpose of protecting the newly revived Cybertron would be a big step in that direction
(there is a scene in one of the RID15 trailers that establishes a statue of him next to Optimus Prime so I can only assume something good came out of his contributions to newly revived Cybertron)
Do you think there's a chance Starscream might have survived the events of Predacons Rising? Because I refuse to accept that he's dead if we didn't actually SEE him die.
That’s the thing about Starscream…
He’s ultimately a survivor.
He can literally talk his way out of anything, and now that Megatron’s gotten all “peace mad” he doesn’t have him to fall back on.
He’ll either run away or convince Predaking that he’s too valuable to die, and he’ll succeed.
tl;dr: if we don’t see Starscream die then Starscream isn’t dead
(and he had problems with the whole staying dead thing in both g1 and tfa so he’s not had a good track record with the whole dying thing)
