Basic Fandom Etiquette Everyone Needs to Remember:

Creators do not owe anyone content. Do not ask writers when they will update.

If an author did not ask for [negative] criticism , do not give criticism.

Read the tags carefully before reading a fanfic.

If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.

Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.

Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.

No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.

Headcanons are PERSONAL interpretations, not universal truth.

Dark themes in fiction do not equal real life beliefs or intentions.

Leaving kudos or short positive comments genuinely matters.

Not every fanwork is made for you, and that is okay.

Scrolling past content you dislike is better than engaging negatively

Enjoying a fandom later than others does not make someone less of a fan.

Disliking a fanfic does not entitle you to announce that to its creator. Sending hate comments to authors is NEVER justified, even if you disliked the work.

being a proshipper just means “being against online harassment”.

you can be a proshipper and be disgusted by some specific ships at the same time, as long as you don’t harass people who enjoy them.

being a proshipper literally just means you know how to scroll past / ignore / mute / block things that make you uncomfortable instead of “attacking people for enjoying these fictional things”.

Since Vilgax is unable to reclaim the Omnitrix he waits and hides his time.

Ben grows up and practices and becomes the only one who knows the Omnitrix better than Azimuth.

He begins traveling the galaxy acting as an ambassador and peace keeper. It is know that the device has a sample of the Chimerans before the planet degradation began to affect the species. So Vilgax wants that genoarchetype desperately.

Ben is happy to play ball and provide a sample if Vilgax will release the worlds he's conquered. The negotiations begin and Ben assumes the Chimeran form.

So Vilgax has to smooze with Ben. Ben is enjoying toying with him and eventually rips off one of Vilgax tentacles and eats it. Everyone is horrified and Ben is confused and Vilgax is like

"He didn't like he first courting gift... noted" while he's is still bleeding.
