her HEAD TILTED TO THE SIDE as she looked on towards her commander. beth could always tell when someone was lying about something. she had been able to do it ever since she was a little girl and she got better at it as the years went by. pushing herself up from her seat, she made her way over to the bench where the other woman was sitting and sat down beside her. a soft sigh escaped her lips as she pushed a lock of her hair behind her ear. 

          “ we both know that’s not true commander. you don’t have to deal with this alone. we are all                 here, working together. we are going to get through this and then WE WILL GO HOME. ” 

she knew that it probably wasn’t the best advice, but it was all that she could offer in that moment. with everything going on, emotions were running high and they were all losing sleep. they need to lean on one another and knew that they were stronger as a team. // @missioncommandcr ( x )

Really, Rose was wandering. Just wandering, getting her bearings. It felt like she had been on a different planet for years. Despite this dimension being an almost parallel to the one she had left behind. Still, it was wise to get her bearings. And as she was doing so, she ran into, literally ran into what was definitely a familiar face. Outside of a spacesuit, sure, Rose wasn’t sure what year the whole visit to whatever had been, but this woman looked about the same.

“Do I know you?” She asked, cautiously. Time-lines were tricky, and she wasn’t always sure what had happened when.

“Hi, I found this spacey thing, I think it’s supposed to be some kind of replica of some sort of space craft or something. Possibly Sputnik? That’s the only one I know. But here, I brought you this.” The words spilled out of her mouth in a rush as she held up the hastily, and badly, wrapped item.

“Oh shit --”

Okay, back up.  Jade had been walking through the halls of the base, mostly minding her business. Her hands were still dirty with grease from the hangar, and she’d been more focused on rubbing it off on her sleeves than to who might’ve been walking in the halls around her. Humming to herself, the blond had done a great job of ignoring everyone around her, thus sending her on a crash course to the redhead walking down the corridor.

When her ass hit the deck plating, Jade finally looked up, immediately apologetic as she met the other woman’s gaze. For someone who was a stones-throw away from being a jedi... Jade was a mess. “Sorry about that, you okay?” she asked softly, jumping to her feet and offering the other woman her hand, to help her up. Then she noticed how the other woman was kind of attractive... like really attractive.

Act natural, Jade. Don’t flirt. You aren’t allowed. Kind of. Y’know, you aren’t technically part of the order... 

“ ‘m Jade, sorry about being a complete IDIOT.”

Okay, it’s that hot chick that headed the mission to Mars. Don’t fuck it up, Wade. You’ve got one chance, make it count. The smile on his lips ends up looking a little strained, but damned if he doesn’t try his best with the line he gives her. “So are those space pants? Because that ass is outta this world.”

“Melissa --”

She’s breathless, body all but bare and shoved against the wall of her bedroom. This was slowly turning into a regular thing, and as much as Jade loved it, in the back of her head, she knew it was wrong. A commanding officer shouldn’t be doing this but it felt so good... firm hands were gripping her tight, leaving red and angry marks behind. Good.

              “--don’t stop.”

He really hadn’t meant to get caught. Also, he hadn’t planned on being sick, either.

They were only a few weeks from home, and even after all of this time, Mark had been struggling to adjust to more of a real life. Having a daily schedule, having people around, having real food -- it all seemed extremely foreign, even though he’d had this kind of a life before Mars.  

“Meli -- Commander.”

Mark’s caught off guard when the door opens, despite the sign on the bathroom door had said occupied. Maybe he’d been making too much noise, and she’d gotten worried. He was quite a sight -- vomit on his lower lip, eyes watery and red from heaving. His body was still revolting against anything normal, including food. Great.

                “I’m okay -- Just -- I’m okay.”
