P: Invent a random AU for any fandom

My friend Miranda ( missmandamargo ) once talked about writing a story with the Glee characters in a Scandal AU. Not just Santana in a fixer role like she is in my story IBYM, but as full on inserts into that world. Which means one of the Glee characters would be president. Scary, huh? Hahaha. I always loved the idea though. 

Since this is supposed to be my invention though...

I'm sure this has probably been mentioned before, but while we're on the subject of Glee, I would love to see a Game of Thrones AU. Bulk up Puck, put him in Clegane. Sebastian could be a Lannister. Santana could be in house Martell. Marley could be a stark. Blaine a Baratheon. Quinn could be Targaryen.  I'm not sure what house I would put Rachel in, I'd have to think on that more. 

Someone should write it (although obviously they wouldn't have to agree with me on placement). 

Q: A ship you've abandoned and why. 

Oo. I'm not sure if I've ever full-on abandoned any of my ships. 

I would say Sam + any character on Glee because the writers assassinated his character. 

This is difficult for me to answer because I'm such a multi-shipper these days. I may favor some of my ships over others, and those change, but I never really give up on any. 

Maybe Piper/Alex from Orange is the New Black. I shipped it at first and then I thought differently. At the same time, they're both pretty terrible so in that way, they work. 

V: Do you have any 3-way ships? If so, what? 

Unholy Trinity. Dantanachel. 

Emily/Spencer/Alison from Pretty Little Liars. 

Kenzi/Bo/Dyson from Lost Girl (don't kill me). 

I'm sure there are others but I can't think of them right now.

1. Of the fic you've written, which are you most proud of? 

Umm...I can't say that I'm "proud" of anything that I've written. 

Dream A Little Dream Of Me, is probably the one that I'd be most comfortable showing to others. Although I'm very attached to IBYM, and I spend the most time thinking about that fic. 

3. Favorite POV (first/second/third/etc) 

When I started, I only wrote in first, but I've worked on expanding to others. Second is probably the most interesting to me, although I think third is the most readable. 

5. What inspires you to write? 

Answered :). 

9. A passage from a WIP. 

I'm not sure what this means, so I'll just put something that I haven't published yet from a WIP: 

Sometimes it isn’t that you’re rivals or competitors or Romeo and fucking Juliet. Sometimes there isn't unrequited love or a sticky romantic triangle to blame. Sometimes she’s not your boss or your subordinate. Sometimes you can't say that she’s your best friend’s ex, or your ex’s best friend. Sometimes it’s just you. You’re the only thing getting in your way. You may make it about other things, you may try. But it’s only you. Is there anything worse than that?

11. What are your weaknesses wrt writing? 

Google tells me that wrt means "with regards to" so I'm going to answer based upon that assumption. 

I think that I write too directly sometimes. As in, I write exactly what people are thinking or feeling rather than having the characters demonstrate it through other ways. 

I'm terrible with commas. 

I over-analyze and over-think things in my own writing. 

There's a lot more, but I'll stop there.

I'll go with fanfic and say ckeller48, rockinrye, missmandamargo, mistiec, DottieP...I could go on, but once again, I'll stop there.

Are we talking fics and things? I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

In any case, being part of this fandom has given me some really amazing friendships, particularly with Emily and Miranda.  For that, I'll be forever grateful.
