Mistigram: this meta #teletext scene was illustrated by Uglifruit, depicting using an Amazon voice assistant in the 21st century to access a turn-of-the-century television service, Channel 4's "Bamboozle!" teletext quiz game. Daft! (Naturally, I love it.) This screen was included in the MIST0418 artpack collection released five years ago this month.

Mistigram: One final silly April Fool's screen, mashing up a little #Easter into the heady mix, this #AcornElectron high resolution graphics screen was drawn by The Elk and included in the MIST0418 artpack collection released 8 years ago this month.

Mistigram: I expect that this stylish yet offbeat #teletext screen, like oodles of others, was drawn by @illarterate for inclusion in Rail Slave Games' now-shuttered computer game #SelfieSistersOfTheAmnioticLens. It was included in the nonsensical MIST0418 April Fool's artpack collection released eight years ago this month.

Mistigram: "Old Macdonald pwned a box, E I E I 0XDEADBEEF!" This jarring and glitchy image was the unique handiwork of @192.168.10.13, and was included in the foolish MIST0418 artpack collection released five years ago this month.

Mistigram: to the vulgarian, it's just pixelart of a teapot. But anyone with a bellyfull of the lore of early computer graphics will appreciate the subject of this #teletext screen by @illarterate, the foundational and ubiquitous Melitta teapot that #MartinNewell modelled at the University of Utah in 1975 -- nearly 50 years ago! Also it pours a mean cuppa. This piece was included in the foolish MIST0418 artpack collection.

Mistigram: possibly something was lost in translation from the Japanese, but I think that the minimalist gag in this #ShiftJIS comic strip by @Kalchano is still fundamentally intelligible: is it an arrow directing your attention down, or a pit? ("Why not both?!") This piece was included in the MIST0418 artpack collection.

Mi57iGR4M: saving the best for last, we demonstrate how au courant we are with our empty signifiers (that's grown-up for "shitposting"), Polyducks simultaneously tapping the zeitgeist of 1996 and 2018 with this #GameBoy-styled presentation of #PrincipalSkinner and #SuperintendentChalmers in the notorious #SteamedHams sketch from #TheSimpsons episode S07E21 #22shortfilmsaboutspringfield. This animation was released in the recent MIST0418 April Fool's artpack collection.
