Brian Eno isn't talking about twitter here, but he might as well be. Makes me think of the social media experience of the MIT shooting. I was caught up in my twitter stream the night of the MIT shooting and I made hasty and emotionally formed decisions. I fully accept that a part of me is hasty and emotional and it's ok - but that's why I dance and have reality tv - I try to channel all that into things that do not have a negative social impact on people's lives.

Three people arrested in my city connection with Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev "The three were arrested at 69 Carriage Drive in New Bedford. "Police apprehended suspects from the Hidden Brook Apartments on Carriage Drive in New Bedford. Neighbors say they think that the girlfriend of 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev may have lived in the complex and they have seen him in the area as recently as yesterday."

They finally have him, he is finally in custody and it is finally over.
Finally after almost a full 24 hours since this whole mayhem began it's over. They have taken the second suspect into custody. I am relieved this whole fucking mess is over with, and hopefully now we can find some measure of peace and more questions can be answered.
Please, if you are one of those people who is skeptical about this situation, or have your "theories" about what happened, or don't trust the government because they lie all the time blah blah blah, keep it to yourselves. The time for all that shit isn't now. The time for you to yell "OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE" is not now.
An MIT campus police officer is dead. I have looked at this poor young man's face, a face so young he looked like he could have been my classmate, and I cried so hard for him. Other officers of the law have been injured, and there are still people mourning the loss of their loved ones from the bombings.
Right now is the time for peace, now is the time for quiet. After all the fucking noise of explosions, gunshots tearing through neighborhoods, now is not the time to be shouting these absent minded things, because your focus should be on the loss that has happened. You will have all the time in the world to prove how horrible our government is. Trust me I know it is. We started 'Nam (yes we did). Those families have no more time to be with those they love.
Thank God they got suspect two...
