Question about Mitsuba/Sousuke

So we know that Sousuke died in a car accident and that’s why he’s missing a few body parts in his first appearance right? We can see he lost his right hand and right eye I think.

I thought that this was the reason that in the manga his supernatural form has his hair covering his eye and his sleeve covering his hand.

Contrary to this, we have seen Sousuke’s right eye in the MitsuKou nightlife arc, but in the new universe we see that Sousuke doesn’t cover his right hand or eye when he calls Kou.

So if these body parts he lost in the car accident are still there why does he cover them? Or is Aidairo just drawing Sousuke like this to constantly remind us of how Sousuke died?

Hakuji single-handedly killed I think 67 people because they poisoned a well and killed his wife, had her name on his jacket for hundreds of years, had all of his techniques based on her hairpins and the fireworks they would watch together, wanted to be stronger to protect her and his father, literally yearned for her for centuries. And then they both went to hell together! ❤︎

Took pictures with him, watched him die, coped by falling in love with a version of him at ate hearts, offered to kill himself to understand him, then begged him to live literally trying to force feed him, and still doesn’t think that he deserves to be trusted to make his wish come true. ❤︎
