I think I understand why they gave Mitsuru this stupid hairstyle. He decided to stay on Earth with kokoro, so I guess we won't see him a lot. He went from main character to minor character.

I really wish they had recovered their memories, or fallen in love again if the show had time to do it, but this is the best we'll get so I'm happy with it.

Forgot to point this out, but

In the opening scene, when Mitsuro wakes up, he's on the OTHER side of the bed, beaning that more than one day has passed (that's kinda obvious but ok)

Also, the room isn't that abandoned anymore, it's full of hanging flowers and all tidy and stuff
