This is such a nice story. I love that Zhou Zishu is his grumpy old self through and through, and I especially love the setting. At the end of Faraway Wanderers we’re kind of given a quick “uh and by the way he’s healed now yay shaman magic”, but this story details his journey to recovery so well in such a short moment in time. Beautiful. The emotions were all so very organic too. If you like hurt/comfort this is definitely a must-read.

The Big Weekend

As we know Peter’s Q&A is tomorrow and will be a big day for the Car Share Community - one way or another. While we all wait with baited breath for the reports from our fellow fans to come about what was shared and said, I had hoped to have several things posted to keep us entertained in the meantime.

However, of course, life intervened and I have not had the time I wanted - partly because of Car Share related stuff, ironically, and partly because my sis-in-law’s hen do (not a Hindu hen do) ran longer than expected.

Anyhoo, I can tell you that today I had a LOVELY chat to a fellow named Wayne. You may not know his name, but you’ll know his face... Wayne is the cabby from the infamous end of episode 4. Yes, Wayne’s the man driving our dear Kayleigh away from John.

Wayne is a fabulous guy with fun stuff to tell us about filming Car Share in general, and the scenes in the finale. I wanted to be able to have the “interview” with him posted tonight, but that’s not going to happen now. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it up over the next 48 hours to share with you all. 

Mitten and I also continue to work on finding all the locations and incidents of filming. Some VERY interesting stuff has been thrown up in the past 24 hours but we need to do more research and confirmation so we can either rule out something totally unnecessary (ie filming for something else that someone has confused for Car Share) or something very intriguing. 

Anyway, have a great weekend Car Share peeps and watch this space for more stuffs of interest. And I want to echo the others posts saying HOW MUCH I love this community we have! I LOVE seeing new posts, new content, new opinions, new fic and am so grateful as a fan for the time people are investing in helping us extend our Car Share enjoyment.
