Just a reminder to all reconnecting Indigenous people, you are valid.

You're still Indigenous, even if you are "1/16th indigenous blood"

You're still Indigenous even if you don't "look" Indigenous

You're still Indigenous if you're mixed with black, white, etc.

You're still Indigenous if you tribe doesn't exist anymore

You're still Indigenous if your tribe is lesser known

You're still Indigenous if you don't have a tribe

You are still Indigenous!!

Even if you don't know your ancestors, they know you

Or if you aren't 100% indigenous, that doesn't make your ancestors disappear!

You can still reconnect and participate in your culture!!!

Please don't give up, you can do this ^^

I've seen only maybe two or three two spirit flags, and I wanted to add one as a 2spirit being myself. Here is the...we can call it the Shadow 2spirit flag.

This flag shows a very light turquoise, light green, gray, and white.

The turquoise represents spirituality, and creators guidance

The green represents our land, how it can connect us with our identities

The gray represents representation, male/female, Transgender, queer, masculine, Androgynous, etc.

And the white shows diversity. Our community is truly so diverse, there is no one way to be two spirit.

I really hope this flag can help to represent our community in some way. Yakoke!

Hi again :)

I looked as much as I could, but really couldn't find many resources. I came here to see if I could get some direct knowledge on Kickapoo's Tree Clan, and Clan System. I found a single paragraph stating they had a Tree and Berry Clan, but that was all I could find.

I have always had a random pull to just Trees, but I have no clue if that could tell me anything. I am looking at more personal resources, like DNA tests, records, etc. right now as well.

Please don't bring Blood Quantity debates or talk here though
