TVGuide: Michael Jackson as a father. It is an image we never see. Are you a good father?

MJ: I try my hardest. I try to bring them a lot of fun. Once a year I dress up like a clown, with the whole gear - the nose, the paint. And I give them candy and cookies.

Out of the blue I decided to watch a few Michael Jackson interviews. The man had his issues, a lot of them severe, but one thing he also had was complete honesty. He would sometimes say things that weren't true (like the stories of why his face never stopped morphing), but that's not the honesty I'm referring to. People always knew the truth behind his plastic surgery delusions, but the other thing that was just as blatant as his face transformations was the genuine love Michael Jackson had for all things music and happiness related. You knew what he was about. He made everyone feel like they knew him at a core level, and that may be the most impressive thing about MJ. The man had a monumental talent that was only matched by his ability to connect with people, and that is why he will remain at the top of the performer food chain.

There is Michael, and then there is everyone else.
