Ego does not appear in any of my WIPs, so more for the CrashMax one:
“How far are we from this shit hole you’re dragging me to?” Max grumbled, choosing to ignore him.
“Bout five minutes. And don’t call it a shit hole. Chef won’t put up with that kinda language.” Crash said with a shrug.
Sure enough, within five minutes they’d pulled into the parking lot full of old Sonomas, beaten up Interceptors, and mid-2000s soccer mom vans. Crash’s old shitbox Dakota certainly fit in amongst the veritable junkyard of cars.
