the streets were usually vacant at this time of night, and tonight proved to be no different. having constantly been surrounded by people on a daily basis, it was no surprise that jace found so much comfort in something as simple as a ten-minute solitary walk. he couldn’t seem to keep his mind fixated on one thought -- rather than working to get to the root of a single one of his troubles, he found himself juggling from issue to issue until he was exhausted by his own lack of commitment and gave up entirely. the cycle repeated until the realization that he’d reached his destination yanked him out of his daze. without further hesitation, he pulled out his phone and shot seulbi a text.

So when she accidentally knocked a cup off the counter when she was getting Seulbi a glass of water, she burst into tears. She tried to cover it up and stop, but there was no disguising it. As if there’s anything else to be expected, Minjun was a bright little child. He was always helping out around his parent’s cafe and just being a general ray of sunshine. He was the sweet little boy that would greet you the first chance he got and he was always showing off his vocals, even at such a young age. He was a diligent son and student in school and was always running around with other neighborhood kids and making all kinds of friends.

jace’s first best friend was the stuffed bear his mother got him for his second birthday he named “boo.” it was just about his size and he somehow managed to carry it around everywhere. he took it to birthday parties, the park, the zoo, the pediatrician’s office – everywhere. because it was so big, he often found himself tripping over its feet, but the scraped knees and elbows weren’t enough to convince him to leave his best friend at home.

happy birthday. i honestly hate the fact that i couldn’t be there to spend it with you and make sure that you had the best day, and i really hope that i can make up for it someday. i’ve been thinking about it all day and i know that you said it’s okay, but i can’t help but feel like some part of you doesn’t forgive me. and honestly? that’s understandable. i made a promise and didn’t keep it. i mean, yeah, some really important stuff came up, but. i don’t know. i’m sorry. but you’re really wonderful and really special and i always wish nothing but the best for you. thanks for being so kind to me and everybody else. there really needs to be more people like you in the world.

     Ivy clutched her stomach, obnoxious laughter spilling from her lips as she struggled to keep herself from falling out of the chair. Why did her most beloved cousin have to learn rapping again? Her voice was lovely, of course - but trying to make it sound swagged-out was perhaps one of the funniest things Ivy was asked to do, “I’m sorry - oh my fuckin’ god, let’s take it from the top I gotta record this - this is that good, good shit!”
