Hey computer nerds, this is an EXTREME long shot but I am so frustrated by the apparent lack of options.
I’m shocked this is apparently so much more difficult than I thought it would be, but
Is there a simple way to take an mvk file
And make changes to the subtitles that are in the container
And put it back again when you’re done without any loss of quality whatsoever to the file
With a file that’s 13 gigs
On a Mac running mojave???
The best looking chance seemed like it was going to be mvktoolnix, but it says that it can’t do files bigger than 2 gigs. (Or at least, that’s the limitation of the version I’m able to run on my OS)
Alternatively: is there program that will just extract the damned subs into a srt file? No need to repackage? I could work with that. I tried inviska mkv extract and maybe I’m doing something wrong but it’s not working at all.
