What if Marinette is both traumatized and self conscious that her crush over Adrien led to her losing all of the miraculous, so she decides to cool it down, but Ladybug finds herself feeling something towards Chat because of his unwavering support?

Meanwhile, Adrien feels closer to Marinette because he shared something he's too afraid to tell anyone else they know, and maybe Chat Noir's a little less flirty during missions because everything's more drastic.
