make my eyes burn / bonnie & klaus
New Orleans was a long ways away from Mystic Falls, but a long ways away was what she needed to keep herself from losing her mind. Silas was gone, she and her friends were graduated and she had even been accepted into college but much to her parents and Caroline's dismay Bonnie was well aware that college wasn't the place for her to be. She could easily mess up something and blow a classroom to pieces. Expression had become manageable but controllable was still out of her reach. But there was hope. Her mother had heard rumors of witches who had longed since studied expression, controlled it even. That was what brought the witch to New Orleans, standing in a Motel, watching the people below her running around. Caroline had let her know that she needed to be careful, apparently she had paid attention to a few things and one of those was the way that vampires ruled New Orleans. Sure, it would be dangerous here but it would also be food to not have to hide what she was should people figure it out. She was surrounded by witches, her sisters according to nature. Someone had to be able to help her. Her goals were realistic, attainable. Starting with being able to control her magic when she got angry. She wanted to not black-out when things got bad just to come back to situations that she didn't want to be in. They were little things that everyone should be able to do, no one should have to live in such fear of themselves. Pulling herself away from the window and out of her thoughts Bonnie grabbed her purse off of the bed before locking the door and heading down the flight of stairs. Waving at the woman at the desk who nodded her head, the witch stepped out of the motel and into the busy street around her. Things were constantly moving, never giving you a time to be bored, and that was good. That meant there was less time to over think the situation she was, even if it was much better from the things in the past. She wasn't constantly worried about her life and she knew the people back home were safe from harm with Silas being gone and the Originals being no where in sight. That was good for them. The vendors along the streets caught Bonnie's eyes, from the jewelry to the gypsy's and to the food vendors. Things around them were exciting. Her eyes were else where, when they should have been in front of her, watching where she was going. The feeling of someone's shoulder colliding into her own caused the Bennett to cling to the arm before instantly a cold feeling filled her and Bonnie had to repress the urge to cuss as she released the arm and tightened her purse back onto her shoulder. "I'm so sor--" Her words cut off as her eyes caught sight of the man in front of her, face ageless and a step back was taken quickly. "Klaus." Bonnie blinked several times, as thought expecting him to disappear as quickly as he had appeared.
