Hayley

Full name: Hayley Teresa Esperanza Murphy

Birthday: April 2

Hayley is kind of like Doof in that she's extremely intelligent but lacking in common sense. While she can't build the same sort of laws-of-physics-defying contraptions as the Flynn-Fletcher Bros and Professor Time, she's an extremely skilled mechanic, electrician, and plumber who can fix almost anything. Her talents make her the go-to repair person in the Murphy household. Despite her genius, she can be quite reckless and gullible, and she's pretty socially inept.

She has a fascination with all sorts of machinery, particularly motor vehicles. If she was alive during the events of The Little Engine That Couldn't, she definitely would've joined her father in geeking out over the antique fire truck. Additionally, she has an interest in astronomy. Like her mother, she's also an excellent skateboarder.

Maya

Full name: Maya Rosalina Dolores Murphy

Birthday: January 12

I've already made a few posts involving Maya, but I haven't revealed much about her character yet. She's undoubtedly the most level-headed and responsible of the Murphy kids, often serving as the voice of reason. She's very anxiety-ridden and much more prone to panicking in dangerous situations than her siblings. She also is incredibly shy and has low self-esteem.

She's a bookworm with plenty of knowledge on many subjects. She occasionally writes her own stories (both original and fanfiction). She's also a nature lover who enjoys taking care of plants.

Charlie

Full name: Charles Isaac Salvador Murphy

Birthday: August 16

Charlie is the most like his father of the Murphy kids – he's very cheerful and outgoing and he has much better people skills than either of his sisters. While he doesn't have Hayley's technical know-how or Maya's academic prowess, he is, much like his father, good at thinking on his feet and quickly coming up with solutions to any problems caused by Murphy's Law (or his impulsiveness). He has a craving for attention, which, luckily for him, Murphy's law tends to attract.

He's a theater kid who loves nothing more than performing on stage, and he has great talent in acting and singing. He also has a fascination with magic and the supernatural.

Recently been exploring more Mean girls songs, and upon listening to "Revenge Party" (I have not been able to stop listening to it help) I'm now thinking about MML but Mean Girls AU

All I know is these two sassy fools are required to be Janis and Damian (second is an OC)

In any other AU, it would be Melissa and Zack as Janis and Damian, but these two have the same dynamic, and Ashlyn doesn't work anywhere else. Plus, Barrett Wilbert Weed is Ashlyn's voiceclaim.

And you can't tell me Bradley DOESN'T sound like Damian.

I'm thinking maybe Amanda as Cady, and Lydia as Regina?

I think Amanda works best as Gretchen Wieners though...

But if you put Milo in for Aaron, it matches up better, and it makes the "HE'S MINE" scene between Amanda and Lydia better.

It also gives Ashlyn motive to help Amanda, if Milo is in a toxic relationship.

My only issue now is that I'm running out of characters. I could bring in Candace and Stacy and Jeremy, but they're not in the same age group as the MML gang, and wouldn't be going to the same school.

Looking through the wiki, there are some more girl characters I can put to use, but they have zero personality to work with based off of assumption

Grace, Erika, Cherlyn, Chelsea, Brittany, and Anna. They've all got maybe five lines between them, but enough unique design to them that if you said they were secondary characters, it'd be believable.

Lydia is enough of a background character, and shown to be "the popular girl" that I can just say "yea they're part of her clique"

The AU might be destroying Lydia's character, but some sacrifices must be made *loads gun*

I'm looking at Chelsea and automatically I register her as blorbo :') maybe cause she looks like an OC of mine? Brittany looks like me oh mah gawsh-

I'm leaning towards Chelsea as Gretchen and Cherlyn as Karen
